Job Description & Requirements

The Manager/Senior Manager uses data analytics and determines new strategies to make production processes more efficient to meet organisation's goals. He/She establishes, implements and manages projects to meet operational objectives. He/She manages his/her team resources and balances between production requirement and manpower resources to ensure organisation's sustainability. He/She integrates quality principles and methodology to enhance engineering performance within the organisation.

In addition the Manager/Senior Manager evaluates the organisation’s approach towards a lean enterprise and uses data analytics for business insights identification. He/She drives innovation practices in the organisation and review manufacturing processes to reduce working capital and optimize inventory levels.

As a people manager, the Manager oversees manpower, financial, training and resource planning deployment within the organisation. He displays a high level of organisational awareness and leadership skills by working in a consultative manner with other departments/sections within the organisation.

~ Manage material requirements planning taking into account the sales forecast, production plan and production capacity.
~ Resolve workplace grievances and disputes.
~ Review manufacturing processes to reduce working capital and optimise inventory levels.

• Track changes to the Design/ Construction work and adjust budget projections accordingly
• Price/ forecast the cost of different materials required for the project
• Procurement responsibilities including preparing tender document or calling for quotation for subcontract packages including evaluation through cost comparison as well as recommendation of awards
• Certificate and evaluate progress work done; includes contract administration for any variation or change for both Subcontracts and Main Contracts
• Prepare and followup monthly progress claims in timely manner
• Perform other QS-related duties as assigned by the Reporting Supervisor

Requirements

• Possess Diploma or Degree in Quantity Surveying or its equivalent

Responsibilities:

1. Assist in data entry for order COGS and other data entry task
2. Create & Manage PO, GRN, Shipping document & AP Invoices
3. Prepare and match in goods receiving list and freight charges with the purchase order
4. Correspond with vendors regarding prices, products availability & delivery time
5. Track and manage transport and payment arrangement for purchases
6. Handling Order Request
7. Inventory Operations & Management
8. Prepare stock and inventory report
9. Assist in adminstrative work like quotation and project submission
10. And other ad hoc task assigned by supervisor/manager

Responsibilities

• Handle and follow up with enquiries
• Liaise with parents and teachers on class schedules
• Other administrative duties as required

Requirements

• No experience required
• Able to commit to 4 weekdays (Tue to Fri) and at least one weekend (Sat/Sun)
• Semi-retirees, returning to workforce moms are welcome
• Willing to learn and comfortable with working retail hours
• Willing to travel between branches when needed
• Bilingual with proficiency in mandarin preferred to liaise with mandarin speaking parents

Summary:

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Carpenter to join our growing construction team. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of success in all aspects of carpentry, including framing, finishing, and installation. They will be responsible for constructing and repairing various structures, ensuring high-quality workmanship and adherence to safety regulations.

Responsibilities:

* Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and specifications.

* Construct, erect, install, and repair structures and fixtures of wood, plywood, and other materials.

* Cut, shape, and assemble materials using hand and power tools.

* Install doors, windows, trim, and other building components.

* Finish carpentry work, including sanding, staining, and painting.

* Maintain a clean and organized work area.

* Adhere to all safety regulations and procedures.

* Work effectively as part of a team.

* Collaborate with other tradespeople as needed.

* Inspect and maintain tools and equipment.

Qualifications:

* High school diploma or equivalent.

* Minimum of 3 years of experience as a Carpenter.

* Proven ability to read and interpret blueprints.

* Proficient in the use of hand and power tools.

* Knowledge of various building materials and techniques.

* Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

* Excellent problem-solving skills.

* Strong work ethic and commitment to safety.

* Valid driver's license and reliable transportation (preferred).

Basic Requirements:

* Tools: Must possess a comprehensive set of hand and power tools necessary for carpentry work. This includes, but is not limited to, saws, hammers, drills, levels, measuring tapes, and safety equipment.

* Experience: Demonstrable experience in framing, finishing, and installation. Specific examples of past projects should be provided during the interview process.

* Physical Demands: The position requires physical stamina and the ability to lift heavy objects, work at heights, and stand for extended periods.

* Safety: A strong commitment to workplace safety is essential. Candidates must be familiar with and adhere to all relevant safety regulations.
