The Business Development Manager will play a pivotal role in expanding our client base, identifying new business opportunities, and fostering relationships with potential clients. Responsibilities:
Market Research: Identify and evaluate new business opportunities in the fire protection and safety industry. Analyse market trends, competitor activities, and potential client needs.
Client Acquisition: Develop and execute strategies to acquire new clients, focusing on industries and organizations that require fire protection systems and services.
Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong, long-term relationships with clients, partners, and key stakeholders to drive business growth.
Sales Strategy: Develop and implement sales plans, targets, and projections to achieve revenue goals.
Proposal Development: Prepare and present business proposals, presentations, tenders and bids. Negotiate contracts in alignment with company standards.
Cross-functional Collaboration: Work closely with the service team to ensure a seamless client experience and the delivery of promised services.
Reporting and Analysis: Provide regular updates on sales activities, pipeline status, and revenue forecasts to management.
Requirements:· Proven experience in business development, sales, or a similar role within the fire protection, safety, or construction industry.· Strong understanding of fire protection systems and services is an advantage.· Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.·Strategic thinker with strong analytical skills and a proactive approach to identifying new opportunities.· Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously.· [Preferred qualifications, such as a degree in business, marketing, or a related field.]· Proven sales track record.
