UWCSEA East campus has a vacancy for August 2025 for a Head of Middle School English (ages 11-14). The successful candidate must have tertiary qualifications in Education and English Language and/or Literature and significant experience teaching English to 11-14 year olds.

The Middle School Head of English, in collaboration with the Middle School Vice Principal (Academic), the Director of Teaching and Learning, and Middle School Principal leads the teaching and learning of English for all Middle School students. They lead their team of teachers in creating a positive learning environment based on the UWCSEA’s Values including honesty, integrity, respect, and responsibility. Person Specifications

- Responsible for daily basis service work and handling new installation projects and testing commissions for air-cooled and water-cooled chiller.

- Routine servicing of Commercial Chillers (Air-cooled & Water-cooled chillers) onsite.

- Routine duties includes maintenance, troubleshooting and repair to commercial chillers, AHU, FCU, VRV CRAC, VRV Systems, including tear down and rebuild (overhauling).

- Able to read specifications and drawings by contractors.

- Inspecting and testing systems to verify system compliance with plans and specifications and to detect/locate malfunctions.

- Organise and keep up with records and report all faults, deficiencies and other unusual occurrences, as well as the time and materials expended on work orders.

- Responsible for adjusting system controls to settings recommended by manufacturer to balance systems handling for all types of refrigerant.

Requirements:

- Diploma/Degree in Mechanical Engineering

- Minimum 2 years of technical experience with knowledge in air-conditioning, Chiller, ACMV or HVAC systems
