Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or a related field.
• 5 years QAQC experiences in EPC projects.
• Knowledge in Inspection of Pressure Vessel, Piping, FRP tanks, Rotating equipment such as pumps, fans, agitators, etc.
• Knowledge in Non-Destructive Test such as RT, UT, PT, MT and able to interpret test results.
• Able to read, understand and interpret technical requirements, quality procedures, drawings, P&ID.
• Detail-oriented and have strong communication skills and able to work with people from all levels.
• Experiences in wastewater, desalination, water utility, incineration, power plant packages are preferred.
• Comfortable working within a fast-changing environment, ability to multi-task and cope with ambiguity.
• Strong communication and interpersonal ability, coupled with influencing skills.
• Strong verbal & written communication skills (English and preferably Mandarin)
• Independent and a self-starter, with strong personal drive to initiate and implement.

The successful candidate will work with Dr Li Dan on Prevention of microbial contamination in cell culture meat system under a project on Bezos Center: alternative protein.

The main responsibilities of the position include:

• Screen and develop mitigation strategies of cell culture systems with AI-assisted tools;
• Build scaled-up cell culture meat systems and test the proposed antimicrobial strategies;
• Draft research reports and manuscripts;
• Attend conferences and events to publicize the research outcomes and initiatives;
• Guide research students and advise their thesis.

Qualifications

• Qualifications / Discipline: PhD in food science and food microbiology.

• Skills: Microbial cultivation and test, multi-omics analysis, food chemistry

• Experience: PhD training with the skills required in this project.

The APAC Fraud Team is responsible for building and implementing regional strategies that scalably reduce risk for Stripe and preserve a healthy financial ecosystem, while creating positive experiences for users.

As a Strategist on the Fraud team in APAC, you will be directly responsible for building strategies to mitigate buyer and seller fraud on new and existing Stripe products in the region. You will enable safer payments for our users and help Stripe manage payments risks intelligently. The stakes are high, and you will be up against ever-evolving challenges. You will face some of the most complex and dynamic problems at the company, and the nature of your work will evolve rapidly to combat new and more sophisticated challenges to Stripe's payments integrity.

What you’ll do

Responsibilities

• Focus on Fraud Risk. You will monitor regional buyer and seller fraud trends and investigate anomalous behavior at the merchant and transaction level.
• Build and monitor regional health metrics. You will be responsible for defining, building, maintaining and monitoring key regional fraud health metrics. You will set targets for improvements to these key indicators.
• Build regional Fraud Strategies. You will identify key fraud protection investment opportunities for the region for the short and long term. You will work across stakeholder groups like Data Science, Product, Engineering and Operations to scope and execute these strategies.
• Support New Product and Country Launches or the Region: You will deeply analyze fraud risks for new product and country launches and will build strategies that will mitigate those fraud risks pre and post launch.
• Interface with external partners: You will interface with financial partners and users as required to update and educate them regarding Stripe’s fraud systems.
• Share insights: You will communicate key updates outwards to regional stakeholders and the broader risk organization.
