Responsibility:

• Collaborate with multidisciplinary stakeholders to ensure patient-centered care and optimise workflows and processes.
• Perform data collection and analysis to inform decisions and provide administrative support for meetings and reports.

Requirements:

• Be a key player in the customer acquisition team to onboard new parents to the company's community

(A) Job Summary:

The Geologist will be primarily responsible for planning, supervising or assessing the geological/geotechnical aspects of construction activities such as soil investigation, bored piling and excavation. His expertise ensures that geological factors are adequately addressed to guarantee quality, safety and stability.

(B) Essential Job Functions:

The Geologist is responsible for, but not limited to, the following:

Site Investigation

• Supervise soil investigation work.
• Conduct geological surveys and site assessments to identify soil, rock, and groundwater conditions.
• Check the record of investigation work for accuracy and adequacy.

Foundation Assessment

• Assess subsurface conditions to check adequacy for structure foundations.
• Provide recommendations for excavation, piling, or other ground improvement techniques.

Risk Mitigation

• Identify potential geological hazards and propose strategies to minimize risks during construction.
• Develop contingency plans for unforeseen geological challenges.

Collaboration with Design Teams

• Work closely with engineers and project managers to integrate geological data into design and construction plans.
• Suggest modifications based on geological findings to enhance project safety and efficiency.

Compliance and Documentation

• Ensure compliance with environmental and safety regulations related to geology and construction.
• Prepare detailed reports, including maps, diagrams, and findings from geological investigations.

On-site Support

• Monitor construction activities to ensure adherence to geological recommendations.
• Address geological issues that arise during excavation, tunnelling, or other construction processes.
• Other ad-hoc duties as assigned.

(C) Minimum Qualifications/ Job Experience:

• Degree in civil engineering or geology, certificate in Site Investigation for Supervisors (BCA), SEC(K) higher Skill is an advantage with 10 years’ relevant experience.
