Your key responsibilities:

• Lead the Global Corporate Advisory team providing business specific sanctions advice for the Corporate Bank
• Primary contact for APAC stakeholders providing advice on application of the global sanctions policy
• Solicit and interpret Legal guidance to justify risk-based Sanctions decisions on jurisdictions and individuals
• Thought leadership representing Deutsche Bank externally to advocate for industry best practice related to global sanctions compliance
• Manage a metrics led, APAC Sanctions Advisory capability demonstrating efficient risk management and mitigation, whilst working cooperatively with other regional heads and the Global Head of Sanctions Advisory
• Support the Global Head of Sanctions Advisory with stakeholder engagement on changes to sanctions regimes and regulatory engagement on sanctions matters.

Your skills and experience:

• Minimum 10 years of working experience in Sanctions with a Global Financial institution.
• Proven understanding of Corporate Banking Products through experience providing Compliance or AFC support.
• Financial crime thought leader with proven Sanctions subject matter expertise and experience interpreting Global Sanctions Regulations.
• Minimum Bachelor’s degree or equivalent with a background in Finance. Relevant sanctions compliance qualification from an internationally recognized body or legal qualifications/experience can be considered.
• Strong track record of business engagement balancing commercial considerations with sanctions risk under pressure.
• Ability to objectively evaluate options taking into account multiple sanctions regimes

Role is required to be performed on-site at One Raffles Quay office. Relevant vaccination requirements may apply.

Responsibilities:

Administration

• To prepare weekly/monthly meeting documents and minutes.
• Prepare A&P calendar of events, revenue and expenditure. / Work closely with the Placemaking team
• To organize social events & meetings.

Operational Matters

• Assist the Manager in supervising soft services such as cleaning, security, landscape, pest control and carpark services.
• To review all areas regularly to determine whether cost - saving measures can be implemented without compromising on quality, durability, or effectiveness.
• • To set up a monitoring system to track repairs and replacements for regular update/check and control for any excessive occurrence.
• To conduct regular inspections with the term contractors (cleaning, pest control, fire protection system, lift, etc.) to ensure that the services are carried out / maintained to the standard set by the Management and or the authorities.
• To propose / recommend improvement, repairs and upgrading works when appropriate and ensure that such are carried out properly when approved.

Tenancy Management

• Help coordinate tenant move-ins and move-outs.
• Build positive relationships with co-workers, clients, and tenants.
• Respond to tenants’ needs and maintain positive relationships and high retention levels with all tenants.
• Liaise with tenants on repairs and maintenance works.

Retail Management

• Organize regular tenants’ communication sessions for marketing updates and management of issues.
• Ensure tenants comply with key lease covenants such as permitted use, operating hours, signages, connection to POS, submission of sales data, etc.
• Drive campaigns and space activations.
• Manage social media platforms, websites etc.

Emergency

• To lay down procedures and contact numbers of persons to be contacted for dealing with emergency situations such as pipe burst, fire, power failures, structural damage, etc.
• To ensure the implementation and maintenance of the OMS system in accordance to establish organizational standard.

Reporting & Budgeting

• Prepare accurate, timely and completed reports, including monthly performance reports and variance reports for review by senior management.
• Prepare annual budgets and quarterly reforecasts relating to the operating expenditure under your charge.
• Manage all accounts payable for the property, including collection, and approval of invoices.
• Respond to problems and concerns and ensures compliance with rules and regulations.

Requirements:

• Diploma with at least 3 years of experience.
• Excellent communication skills to build rapport with tenants, understanding their needs, and resolving conflicts effectively.
• Have a customer-centric approach, prioritizing tenant satisfaction.
• Experience in managing and resolving conflicts, negotiating settlements, and finding win-win solutions will be highly beneficial in this role
• Knowledge of operation, maintenance, fit out practices and related local ordinances.
• Independent with integrity, innovative, proactive, and resourceful
• Good organization, problem solving and communication (verbal and written) skills.
• Good interpersonal skills with team player qualities to manage both internal and external stakeholders.
