Job Description

Responsibilities

Requirements Gathering:

• Collaborate with business stakeholders to understand their requirements for the COBOL code migration.

• Analyze existing COBOL applications and identify functionality and data dependencies.

Solution Design:

• Work closely with solution architect, framework team and developers to design migration solutions that align with business needs.

• Develop documentation outlining the proposed migration strategy.

• Design the detailed technical solution based on underlying framework and infra architecture

Test Suites Documentation and Test Data Mining

• Document each test case with clear objectives, expected outcomes, and test steps.

• Regularly review and revise test cases to reflect changes in the project scope or discovered during testing phases per users and ITPM’s review.

• Determine the types of data needed to thoroughly test application functionalities, including boundary value, error value, and standard use case data

Risk Assessment:

• Identify potential risks and challenges associated with the migration process.

• Develop mitigation plans and contingency strategies.

SIT and UAT:

• Conduct thorough SIT.

Job Scope
