The Job in a Nutshell

The Down For More (DFM) Full Time (FT) Front Desk Staff will be responsible for the inner workings of their studio, including but not limited to; all facets of Customer Service Management, presentation of the physical studio space, and Management of the Online and Offline Operations.

The FT Front Desk Staff will be responsible for how their studio looks, feels, presents, smells, etc. Whilst working in line with the company’s branding and long-term goals, the FT Front Desk staff will also be responsible for the clients’ experience in the studio spaces as the core people on the ground. In line with DFM’s intent to provide a great brand experience, the FT Front Desk Staff is responsible for how their studio looks, feels, smells, and presents. This is including but not limited to:

• General housekeeping and tidiness of the entire studio including front desk areas, practice rooms, changing rooms and toilets at all times.
• Completing Daily Grind set by the Area Managers.
• Ensuring that all facilities are working well and refilled sufficiently.

Team & Onboarding

Overview

• Serve Premium or Strategic customer as a Technical Account Manager (TAM)
• Assist the team with escalations as and when required
• Assist customers in planned major network maintenances
• Participate in rotating day shift duties to support operations
• Deliver basic and advance training to iDirect customers
• Maintain and upgrade the training lab to the latest software release as and when required
• Provide feedback to the content developer on training material for continuous improvement
• Work with internal and external customers to make sure all requirements are met
• Able to travel in short notice when needed

Requirements:

• Minimum bachelor’s degree in Electrical/ Electronics/Telecommunications Engineering.
• 3-5 years working experience in SATCOM industry is preferred. Entry level applicants are welcome to apply.
• Working knowledge or practical experience with (added advantage)
• IP-based networks with a CCNA certification or above
• SATCOM knowledge and experience
• Knowledge with programming language or scripting experience
• Problem solving skills, analytical skills, and the ability to make decisions quickly.

• Effective oral and written communication skills in English (with other languages will be advantage)

We are looking for a Research Fellow who will be responsible for designing and implementing next generation communication and networking technologies and protocols.

Responsibilities:

• Design and develop communication and networking protocols related to resource allocation, channel access, security related protocols for 5G/6G environments;
