We are looking for a proactive and detail-oriented Accounts Assistant to join our Finance and Accounting team. This role involves supporting day-to-day financial operations and ensuring compliance with financial regulations.

Key Responsibilities

Accounting Operations:

• Manage daily accounting processes, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and bank reconciliations.
• Prepare and process invoices, payment vouchers, and employee expense claims.
• Maintain and update financial records in accounting systems.

Financial Reporting:

• Assist with monthly and yearly financial closing processes.
• Support the preparation of accurate financial statements and management reports.

Compliance and Administration:

• Ensure compliance with accounting standards, tax regulations, and company policies.
• Prepare documentation for GST submissions, audits, and other statutory filings.
• Support ad-hoc administrative tasks and projects as needed.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Accountancy.
• 0 - 3 years of experience in accounting or related fields.
• Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Excel.
• Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.
• Good communication skills and ability to work effectively in a team.

Job Scope

• Understand and be able to explain to customers the range of Jewellery the company has to offer
• Promote the various products, services and schemes to customers
• Attend to customers and ensure service delivery standards are met in achieving total customer satisfaction
