The ideal candidate is somewhat of a jack of all trades, not afraid to venture into new topics. You are experienced in game development in Unity or Unreal, but you are also not afraid to architect and implement the software for a physical game that includes contributions from several technology suppliers and game creators. You can interact with our firmware and hardware engineers to come to an overall design that meets expectations.

What You’re Responsible For

• Lead all software development aspects of arcade games, from concept to completion.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and define software specifications for our products.
• Work closely with our own hardware and firmware engineers and external contributors to integrate our software to ensure seamless functionality.
• Develop software for physical arcade games integrating motion systems, VR headsets, lighting, sound effects, computer vision and haptic feedback to a seamless experience for our customers.
• Ensure high-quality, reliable, and innovative software solutions for a captivating player experience.
• Design and develop robust and efficient software solutions that meet our standards to guarantee a safe, positive user experience.
• Perform thorough testing and validation of software components to ensure reliability, safety, and performance under arcade conditions.
• Participate in DevOps activities, including continuous integration, deployment automation, and security enhancements.
• Document the design processes: development, testing, analytics, and troubleshooting.

What We’re Looking For

• Ability to lead a team and drive software development projects from start to finish.
• At least five years of experience in game development, where contributions from several parties are combined under your guidance.
• Bachelor's or master's degree in computer science, Computer Engineering, or equivalent field.
• Proficient in C/C++, C#, Python, experience with Unity, Unreal.
• Familiar with programming micro controllers like Arduino or Raspberry pi.
• Familiarity with software development methodologies including Agile, and experience working in Agile environments, version control systems, software test frameworks, and software testing techniques.
• Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving skills and a commitment to delivering high-quality results.
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with multidisciplinary teams.

Job Overview

The Assistant Front Office Manager leads the Guest Services team and takes key responsibility for the guest experience aspect of the Hotel. You will be accountable for the Guest Services team’s execution of consistent Holiday Inn Express Guest Experience. You will ensure that all procedures and operations for the Guest Services team will be in line with brand standards, employee welfare and guest experience.

Duties and Responsibilities

Financial Returns:

· Preparation of the annual departmental operating budget.

Guest Experience:

· Advise employees of development needs and instruct on action plans. Provide retraining as needed.

· Make time to interact with guests, solicit feedback and build relationships.

· Lead a team to respond to guest complaints, special requests and ensure corrective action is taken to achieve complete guest satisfaction.

· Understand and respond to customer’s needs and ensure a high level of guest satisfaction.

· Demonstrate BrandHearted behaviors by maintaining compliance with all brand standards, behaviors, hallmarks and license agreement mandates.

· Support GSAs’ in all guest services tasks.

· Maintain Great Room environment and ensure F&B tasks are also being focused on by Guest Services.

Responsible Business:

· Maintain and order Front Office supplies and equipment in a timely and efficient manner while minimizing waste and maintaining “green” initiatives (example: container recycling, and cleaning agents).

· Accountable for IHG fire life safety (FLS) adherence in the hotel.

· Responsible for the security of lost and found items throughout the hotel.

· Ensure a safe and secure environment for guests, team members and hotel assets in compliance with hotel or owner policies and procedures and regulatory requirements.

· Develop and carry out action plans to be environmentally conscious, take steps to reduce the hotel’s carbon footprint.

· Educate and train team members in compliance with federal, state and local laws and safety regulations.

Accountability

Leadership role involved in the effective running of the Front Office operations, including managing the operational team whilst overseeing third party vendors. Act as the Express Assistant Manager in the absence of the Express Assistant Manager

• Experience in Incident and Problem management.
• Min 4 years of hands-on experience on troubleshooting the applications
• Have experience of at least 2 years on Cobol, CICS application support
• At least 2 years of working experience in production support in banking applications running on Windows and Unix environments is preferred
• Mmonitoring production system, health check and job scheduling to ensure SLA is meet.
• Troubleshoot and solve production issues related to performance and reliability throughout the software stack.
• Proactively identify bottlenecks in the system and work to resolve these issues before they become a problem.
• Continuous improvement of the system, e.g. job automation, performance tuning and should be able to identify and fix the bugs.
• Preferably have experience in VPC
• Support infra upgrades and address SW/HW vulnerabilities\
• Perform code packaging end to end until release to Production, the maintaining application is done by the Production team
• Should have strong hold on SQL server/Oracle databases and able to write/debug the SQL programs.
