• Working Hours: 5.5 days (Mon to Fri: 8.30 am-5.30 pm, Sat: 8.30 am to 12.30 pm)

Key Responsibilities

• Drive the Company’s truck for the collection and transportation of waste.
• Assist in the collection of waste from clients’ premises.
• Ensure the containers/bins are properly secured/lashed to the truck, before driving off.
• Assist in the unloading, segregation, and storage of the waste.
• Comply with all Traffic rules, and practice safe driving habits while driving the Company’s trucks.
• Comply with all anti-littering laws and to this end, ensure that proper containers/bins are used to hold the waste, for safe transportation.
• Perform daily maintenance of the Company’s trucks.
• Adhere to all Warehouse Safety Rules, and observe safe work practices.

Job Overview

The Assistant Project Manager will join the asset management team responsible for new development of assets, as well as repair, maintenance, and enhancement of existing properties owned by the Stamford Land Group of companies.

Job Responsibilities

• Review of proposed new developments, asset improvement initiatives, maintenance and other capital expenditures for existing properties.
• Support feasibility studies and provide recommendations on new development concept, preliminary programme and budget.
• Coordinate with relevant stakeholders (consultants, architects, contractors, and suppliers.) through all phases of the project cycles from design to completion.
• Managing of on-site team and being responsible for all site works and activities with appropriate project monitoring and delivery methodology.
• Review tender documentation, contracts, schedules, and budgets.
• Track project expenditures and control budgets to ensure alignment and efficient use of resources.
• Maintaining effective communication with onsite teams and keeping accurate records of all related paperwork.
• Provide regular progress reports to management on project status and timelines.
• Optimizing planning and following up tools, driving improvement actions, and sharing learnings and best practices with colleagues.

Job Requirements

• Possess degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Electrical or Civil) / Real Estate / Property Management / Quantity Surveying, or equivalent
• Minimum 3 years of relevant experience
• Good knowledge of building regulations and codes.
• Proficient in MS Office, Excel and Word.
• Excellent organisational skill and detail oriented.
• Resourceful, self-driven, and willingness to learn.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
• Experience with hospitality-related projects would be an advantage.
• Overseas travel is required

• Document Collection & Verification:

• Gather invoices, receipts, and other financial documents from subcontractors, suppliers, and other project stakeholders.
• Ensure all documents are complete, accurate, and meet project or company standards.
• Follow up with vendors or internal teams to resolve missing or incomplete documentation.

• Data Entry & Accounting System Maintenance:
• Input financial data from collected documents into the company’s accounting software or system.
  Verify that all information is accurately recorded, including project-specific costs and materials.
  Maintain detailed accounts, including job costing, revenue, and bank reconciliations.
  
• Vendor Invoice Processing:
• Process incoming vendor invoices and match them with purchase orders, contracts, or delivery receipts.
  Prepare payment schedules and ensure timely payments to vendors, suppliers, and subcontractors.

Financial Reporting & Reconciliation:

• Prepare regular financial reports for construction projects, such as daily or weekly cost summaries.
• Maintain and update accounts receivable (AR) and accounts payable (AP) aging reports.
• Perform bank reconciliations and ensure accurate tracking of project-related expenses.

Payroll Support:

• Assist in processing payroll for project teams, including tracking hours worked, calculating overtime, and managing deductions for labor costs.
