Amazon's Legal Department is looking for a talented real estate lawyer to fill the position of Corporate Counsel – Real Estate and Colocation supporting Amazon Web Services (AWS), a dynamic and rapidly growing business within Amazon.com. AWS is at the forefront of the "cloud" computing and service industry, providing IT infrastructure services such as on-demand compute capacity, storage, content delivery, database services, and more.

Key job responsibilities
As part of the AWS real estate and colocation legal team, you will be responsible for supporting AWS's APJ data center expansion through land acquisitions, leases and licenses with services agreements. You will have transactional drafting and negotiating responsibilities on deals, and will provide legal counsel and contract interpretation to business team members on a daily basis. Transactions range from standard contracts to complex, bespoke, high value agreements. You will have excellent communication skills, organizational skills, and an eagerness to work closely with and be a trusted advisor to your business partners. In this role, you will structure, draft and negotiate agreements, help support AWS real estate and colocation’s existing portfolio, manage outside counsel, and advise internal business clients. In addition, you will help develop, implement, and manage process improvements across the team, resolve legal issues that arise in existing commercial relationships, and handle pre-litigation legal disputes and inquiries.
The successful candidate must be enthusiastic, enjoy working hard and being challenged, and demonstrate sound judgment even in ambiguous situations.

This position is located in our Singapore office.

Basic qualifications

• A qualified lawyer with at least six years of post-qualification legal experience (with at least three years at a law firm) as a real estate lawyer
• Experience drafting and negotiating contracts in English
• Strong written and oral communication skills

Key Responsibilities:

• Designing Jewelry and Objects: Create custom designs for jewelry (rings, necklaces, bracelets, etc.) based on customer requests or original ideas. Sketch or use computer-aided design (CAD) software to create detailed blueprints of the final product.
  
• Metalworking: Melt and alloy gold and other metals to achieve the desired color, strength, and consistency for specific pieces. Shape and mold the metal using various techniques such as casting, forging, and soldering.
  
• Casting and Shaping: Pour molten gold into molds to create base shapes for jewelry, and refine or finish pieces through techniques like hammering, rolling, or polishing. Use tools such as files, pliers, and hammers to shape metal and add intricate details to the designs.
  
• Stone Setting: Set precious or semi-precious stones (diamonds, sapphires, etc.) into the metal using various setting techniques such as prong, bezel, or pave settings.
  
• Finishing and Polishing: Smooth rough edges and surfaces to achieve a high-quality finish.
  Polish pieces using specialized tools to enhance shine and detail.
  
• Repairing and Restoring Jewelry: Repair damaged jewelry by re-soldering, re-setting stones, or replacing broken parts. Restore old or antique pieces to their original form, while maintaining or enhancing their integrity.
  
• Quality Control: Inspect finished pieces to ensure they meet design specifications, quality standards, and durability. Ensure that the weight, size, and quality of metals and gemstones are as required by the customer or company.
  
• Customer Interaction:Consult with clients to understand their preferences, budget, and desired outcomes. Make adjustments to designs based on feedback or specific requests.

We are looking for an account executive for this company.

The duties assigned will be varied; these will include but not be limited to the following:

• Maintain full set of accounts for various companies, ensuring timely and accurate reporting

of financial statements in accordance with IFRS and company accounting policies;

• Prepare management and statutory financial reports;

• Analysis and reconciliation of management reports;

• Manage intercompany billing and reconciliation;

• Provide supervisory guidance to accounting support staff;

• Responsible for the accounting file management for the companies assigned;

• Work closely with Group finance team for accounting, control, reporting and compliance

matters;

• Manage annual audit and liaising with external auditors;

• Responsible for quarterly GST submission where applicable and annual tax matters;

• Support any ad-hoc projects and tasks from time-to-time as required.

REQUIREMENTS:

• Diploma in Accounting or ACCA level 2 equivalent;

• At least 4 years of accounting experience with strong accounting knowledge;

• Good working knowledge of accounting standards and GST regulations;

• Possess a keen eye for details and strong analytical skills;

• Able to hands-on and deadline oriented;

• Good people management, interpersonal and communication skills – both written and

spoken;

• Knowledge of basic group consolidation is an added advantage;

• Experience in Food and Beverage industry will be an added advantage.
