Our client is a Water Treatment Industry. Due to their current expansion plan, they are looking for a Purchasing Assistant to join their team, in hopes of developing the current high performing team. They are located in the West.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage data input, analytics, and maintenance of the Procurement Department’s electronic folders.
• Conduct clerical and administrative tasks within the Procurement Department.
• Assist and support the team with quotation and tender activities.
• Utilize internal Purchase Requisitions to identify and process purchase requirements, ensuring accurate information for the Purchase Order process.
• Monitor and expedite Purchase Orders with vendors.
• Communicate order status updates to internal stakeholders.
• Ensure proper filing and archiving of Vendor Registration documentation.
• Confirm goods receipt for Purchase Orders upon delivery.
• Perform additional duties as required, aligned with the role.

Requirements:

• Possess at least “O" Level or Diploma/ITE certification in Office Skills or equivalent.
• Knowledge of Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel)

Roles and Responsibilities

a) Support cost optimisation got GCC environment

b) Project administration and documentation (procurement, audit etc)

c) Drive cloud-related initiatives with other teams (coordination)

d) Advise and support project teams with cloud-based domain knowledge

e) Support incident management (when needed)

f) Plan and organise workshops

g) Support operations for applications hosted on Amazon Web Services (AWS) or Government on Commercial Cloud (GCC)

h) Present and share new ideas or information with department or management committee

i) Analyse the Ministry of Manpower (MOM) needs, scope the problem and develop business case to address the problem

j) Document requirements, source and evaluate alternatives, and recommend solution that best fits the Ministry of Manpower’s needs

k) Work with MOM vendor and app vendor on the solutions and design to seek clarification and acceptance.

l) Assess and ensure applications are in full compliance to IM8 and security requirements laid out by Government Technology Agency (GovTech) or MOM

m) Remediate any non-compliance or security findings related to accounts in GCC environment

n) Perform scripting or low-code development

o) Review and refine existing processes and workflows to improve efficiencies

4. Knowledge and Skills

EDUCATIONAL QUALIFICATIONS

a) Tertiary education in Computer/Computer Science or Information Technology or equivalent

b) AWS certifications such Developer (Associate) Certification, AWS SysOps Administrator (Associate), AWS Solution Architect (Associate/Professional), AWS DevOps Engineer (Professional) is preferred

c) Knowledge of serverless architectures

d) Familiarity with various coding languages, such as Python, Java etc.

RELEVANT EXPERIENCE

a) Ability to work both independently and as part of a team with professionals at all levels

b) Results oriented

c) Hands-on experience in handling operations and incident management

d) Strong proficiency in AWS services and architecture

e) Experience with infrastructure-as-code tools (e.g., Terraform, CloudFormation)

f) Proficiency in scripting languages (e.g., Python, Java)

g) Familiarity with security tools and practices (e.g., SAST, DAST, IAST)

h) Understanding of cloud security best practices

i) Experience with monitoring and logging tools (e.g., CloudWatch)

1. Assist the Operations Manager in analyzing and improving organisational processes and workflow

2. Improve the effectiveness and efficiency of the operational level processes and ensure that the processes are clearly communicated at all levels

3. Manage all operational functions and work closely with internal divisions and external customers to meet their requirements

4. Manage cost-effectiveness and continually improve productivity and efficiency of the division level processes

5. Maintain a safe and healthy work environment by establishing and enforcing company and regulatory standards and procedures

The Project Manager will lead and manage medical device installation projects from inception to completion. This role involves strategic planning, resource management, and ensuring that projects are delivered on time, within scope, and within budget.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop comprehensive project plans, timelines and documentation.
• Maintain strong relationships with all project stakeholders to ensure their needs and expectations are met, fostering collaboration and resolving conflicts promptly.
• Lead the meetings with customers, consultants and main contractor.
• Proactively address and resolve issues that arise during the project to prevent disruptions and ensure smooth progress.
• Manage project contracts and payment claims and ensure that the projects are delivered as per contractual requirements.
• Arrange meetings with company Sales, Factories, Logistics and Management as necessary.
• Monitor project progress and performance.
• Identify and mitigate project risks to protect the company’s interests.
• Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and industry standards.
• Ensure compliance with company QMS SOP, and company product installation requirements.
• Prepare and present project reports to management.
• Conduct Post-Project review to gather lessons learned to improve future projects.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Project Management, Engineering, or related field.
• CSCPM – Construction Safety Course for Project Managers.
• Extensive experience in project management, hospital projects is a plus.
• Strong leadership and organizational skills.
• Excellent communications and negotiation abilities.
• Proficiency in project management software and tools.
