Key Responsibilities:

Generates demand and selling Cloud Managed Services solutions -
• Generates demand by assisting clients to identify and qualify current needs and effectively articulate how the company can add value through its Cloud services and solutions offering.
• Addresses the objections that a client may pose in moving to a Cloud managed services solution.
• Appropriately allocates sales time between assigned clients and new prospect opportunities; yet ensure focus remains on the top clients/prospects and balance opportunity size with likely outcomes.

Sales partnership -
• The success of the services agenda and successful sales will rely on successful partnership with others; this will include regional leads and services teams to work on the best outcome for the client.
• Engages and coordinates with partners and/ or vendors to drive select deals through vendor-based opportunities.
• Engages with the broader organization such as the Offer Management, Commercial Architecture and Delivery teams to promote and support high-value services opportunities.
• Participates in regional sales governance processes and Deal Clinics to profile opportunities.

Managed Services industry trusted advisor -
• Builds deep and long-term relationships with client leaders in a Managed Services opportunity and executes a competitive win strategy through understanding the client’s business requirements and competitive landscape.
• Maintains a high level of relevant service knowledge to have meaningful conversations with clients; including the industry that the client operates in.
• Contributes to the knowledge base of the company's services solutions within a services practice by sharing best practices with internal teams as well as client teams; ensuring that internal teams are aware of typical client challenges.

Responsibilities:

• Monitor and troubleshoot production issues (Linux VMs, Vendor Product, SFTP).
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and resolve production issues.
• Perform root cause analysis and provide solutions to prevent future issues.
• Create and maintain documentation related to production issues and resolutions via JIRA.
• Implement and maintain processes and procedures to improve production support.
• Provide daily, weekly, and monthly reports on system performance and issue status.
• Ensure proper deployment and release of software updates & infrastructure patches/upgrades.
• Participate in on-call rotation and respond to production issues after business hours. There are two shifts, Morning (7 AM to 4 PM) and Afternoon (2 PM to 11 PM), running 7 days a week.

• Development work within the vendor product (about 10%-20% of time).

Job Requirement:

Finance Department

We manage the financial needs of the GIC Group for ongoing business needs and building of new capabilities and capacity.

What impact can you make in this role?

You will be part of a team that provides financial management services across the GIC group.

We are looking for a suitable candidate to join Global Accounting and Operations with the Finance Department. As a member of the Finance team, your responsibility includes maintaining full set of accounts of the corporate legal entities to ensure compliance with in-country statutory and corporate tax regulations, perform fixed assets accounting and accounts payable functions.

What will you do as an Associate in the Finance Department?

Travel & Expense (T&E) Administration

• Support and execute the day-to-day T&E processes including expense reporting, expense audit, onward billings of T&E expenses.
• Assist in corporate card administration including card application, termination and monthly statement reconciliation, follow-up on long outstanding transactions
• Engage and work closely with end users, vendors and banks to resolve queries on T&E claims and corporate card transactions.
• Support delivery of new T&E initiatives and tools including user testing, change management and employee engagement.

Accounting & Reporting

• Responsible for the month-end close accounting and reporting activities that involves balance sheet review, intercompany settlement, analysis of accounting schedules, preparation of accounting transactions and reporting packages.
• Work with both internal and external stakeholders that includes auditors, tax and accounting advisors.
• Prepare statutory financial statements, trial balances and accounting schedules in accordance with relevant statutory requirements. Prepare external reporting requirements that includes in-country direct and indirect tax and statutory filings.
• Perform analysis on the financial statements and address queries from internal and external stakeholders that includes auditors and authorities.
• Lead initiatives to design, transform and innovate operational processes to meet business requirements.
• Assist in ad-hoc projects to meet new accounting and business requirements

Capital Asset Planning & Analysis

• Responsible for the month-end close accounting and reporting activities for fixed assets operations, including handling fixed assets additions, disposals and schedules preparation.
• Perform analysis on fixed assets and address queries from auditors and authorities.
• Assist in the review and reconciliation of accounts related to IFRS16 Lease Accounting.

Accounts Payables

• Process vendor invoices for payment.
• Perform vendor creation, maintenance and callbacks.
• Raise invoices for reimbursements of expenses.
• Support and work closely with business users, vendors and banks to resolve queries on staff claims, vendor invoices and payments.
• Support delivery of process improvements and perform user testing for new initiatives.

What qualifications or skills should you possess in this role?

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting/Finance or equivalent professional qualification and 5 to 8 years relevant working experience in an accounting function and accounts payable function
• Experience in financial reporting for legal entities, local tax regulations and managing an external audit
• Good understanding and technical application of accounting standards
• A strong team player with excellent interpersonal, communication and analytical skills, who is keen to learn and pick up new challenges in a dynamic and fast paced environment
• Driven self-starter, with strong initiative, who is hands-on and comfortable to manage multiple tasks, resourceful and able to work collaboratively with different stakeholders, and can work independently to deliver outcomes
