Job Duties:
1) Collect and evaluate crude oil offers from suppliers based on headquarters' requirements, ensuring alignment with operational and quality standards.
2) Negotiate and finalize crude oil purchases at competitive market prices, ensuring smooth delivery and fulfillment of agreements.
3) Research and assess new crude oil grades for suitability and negotiate term supply agreements for optimal cost and quality.
4) Make strategic trading decisions to maximize returns while adhering to company policies and market trends.
5) Build and maintain relationships with suppliers to diversify and strengthen the supply chain, while improving terms with existing partners.
6) Ensure accuracy and compliance in trade details, promptly addressing any discrepancies.
7) Prepare market reports, business plans, and performance updates for senior management, tracking trading metrics and opportunities.
8) Collaborate with internal teams and handle additional responsibilities as assigned by management.
Job Requirment:
1) Bachelor’s degree in commerce, Finance, Economics, or a related discipline.
2) More than 3 years of experience in physical and derivatives trading.
3) Strong knowledge of trading principles, including market direction, trading strategies, fundamentals, global markets, arbitrage, and market climate.
4) Keeps up to date with international events and geopolitical developments that impact markets.
5) Proficient in MS Office, trading systems, and price reporting software (e.g., Reuters, Bloomberg).
6) Strong written and verbal communication skills in both English and Mandarin, enabling effective collaboration with Mandarin-speaking stakeholders and comprehension of Chinese-language documents.
