Job Description

Digital Strategy and Transformation - We are looking for Business Advisors to engage SMEs. The successful candidate will be part of a dynamic team that is passionate about making a difference by assisting, transforming and upskilling SMEs. The role would also involve making digital recommendations to SMEs across industry solutions, cybersecurity, etc.

1. Offer first tier business advisory to SMEs on digital best practices, upskilling and other improvements

2. Managing timeline and project deliverables

3. Provide advisory on the adoption strategy and technology adoption roadmap

4. Manage communication with customer & customer staff

5. Project Documentation and sign off

6. Managing multiple different projects and deliverables concurrently

7. Overseeing project management of project undergoing technology implementation

8. Provides consulting expertise in using tools to manage the project and reporting

9. Managing project reports externally

10. Well-versed in the enterprise solutions technology landscape

Technical Experience:

1. Minimum 5 years of relevant digital experience, preferably senior executive with business development experience or equivalent.

2. Candidate should have prior experience working with SMEs and will be expected to support in lead generation efforts for the programme through their existing SME networks.

3. Knowledge of government grants, initiatives, and support for SMEs will be required for the candidate.

4. Candidate shall be comfortable in handling different queries and managing conversations on different technology areas across various SME (ie. tools, cybersecurity, etc.)

5. Experience and knowledge of working in / with SMEs or related stakeholder is preferred

6. Good interpersonal skills and strong team orientation with the ability to develop relationship across a wide and diverse group of people across age segments.

Major Responsibilities:

• Drive initiatives that will facilitate faster adoption end-to-end solution with a focus on Digital Health Solutions (DHS)
• Demonstrate value of Abbott’s DHS to catalyze faster adoption in the market
• Build reference sites and proof points of the total solutions offering
• Manage all relevant marketing/ad-promo materials targeting both in-lab and outside-the-lab-stakeholders
• Monitor competition and develop appropriate responses
• Achieve Area plan revenue for DHS Solutions
• Improve DHS penetration in deals and in current customers
• Drive new marketing approaches/opportunities for customers and keep abreast of customers needs, competitors, technology, marketplace changes
• Any other responsibilities as assigned by manager

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s Degree in life sciences, engineering or related technical discipline. MBA is preferred
• Minimum 10 years of overall experience, with ideally 5 years of experience managing healthcare informatics/digital health solution products in sales/marketing
• Proficient in healthcare marketing
• Prior experience in diagnostics/lab environment preferred
• Strong team player
• Good communication and stakeholder management skills
• Able to travel for up to 40% of the time

• Perform new customers and laboratory site inspections for new contract / tender preparations and design for new installations
• Provide Level I & Level II service (complex service interventions requiring more than 4 hours of labour)
• Installation of instruments, AbbottLink, and automation
• Perform IQOQ (Installation Qualification Operation Qualification) procedures during and after installation
• Assist with customer business reviews
• Schedule, perform and document hardware and software updates (TSBs) requiring more than 2 hours
• Deliver basic customer operator introductory training post install or post hardware or software upgrade
• Perform basic technical coaching and training for Abbott Ambassadors
• Service Sales and Service Cost Management
• Spare parts and inventory management
• Timely submitting and update reporting system (eg. CMS Next)
• Comply to Abbott Quality and Regulatory Compliance and policies
• Any other tasks assigned by management from time to time

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Medical Technology/Bioengineering or Electrical/Mechanical Engineering preferred
• Minimum 3 to 5 years’ experience in Field Service Engineering. Prior experience in diagnostics/medical devices industry preferred but open to candidates from other relevant industries.
• Willing to be on standby after work hours/ work overtime to resolve service issues when arises
• Successful engagement with customers, specifically key stakeholders and lab staff
• Excellent product and industry knowledge, experience and process skills of the business functions service delivery
• Ability to identify and drive resolution of issues, technical expert for product line responsibility
• Excellent communication skills, experience in use of analytical tools and software
• Coaching and training skills

Job Scope ::

• Provide the end user support of SAP Financials (FI/CO:General Ledger (GL), Accounts Payable (AP), Accounts Receivable (AR), Cost and Profit Center Accounting, Internal Orders, Project Systems, Treasury), SAP Sales and Distribution (Basic), and SAP Material Management (Basic).
• Perform routine system maintenance checks and corrective action such as maintained SAP interfaces/integrations where applicable.
• Act as a liaison between business users/functions with service provider (SI) for troubleshooting: investigate, analyse, escalate, and solve day-to-day operational issues.
• Assisting in testing process to discover errors and issues in business processes and user experience, document test cases and results.
• Assist reporting manager to perform a variety of project administrative duties, including disseminating project information to project stakeholders, monitoring the progress of project activities such as requirement gathering, SIT, UAT, training, etc. and updating of project related materials & documentations.
• Work independently and self-directed.
