We are looking for a dedicated individual to join our dynamic team where you bring on your planning hat and act as the guardian of inventory management across the wide inventory network in APAC & China!
This is a 9-month contract role. No relocation assistance is offered for this position.
Core Responsibilities
Within Supply Inventory Planning:
- Analyze inventories to determine how to optimize inventory, reduce waste, & optimize service to markets
- Running daily/weekly tasks to ensure inventory flow meet the requirements in the channel/ markets assigned.
- Manage activities related to tactical planning, inventory control and safety stocks deployment.
- Monitor and drive performance metrics for measurement such as DC instocks, excess, stock turn, other service measurements.
- Support validation activities with new systems implementation and contribute value adding analysis and insights ensuring system hygiene and aid team in decision making.
- Support the team thru project implementation, assist in coordination across functions and system testing.
Beyond Supply Inventory Planning:
- Confer with regional and BU to scrutinize forecast demand or create supply plans that ensure availability of materials or products.
- Support business strategies adapted to changing market conditions, new business opportunities, or cost reduction strategies.
- Work with regional Demand Management team as partners to review forecasts trending to identify changes or to determine their effect on supply chain activities.

APAC CN Supply & Inventory Planning (SIP) secures stable core planning processes for demand and supply through close collaboration with our markets, production sites and Sales & Operations Planning to adapt in real time in a dynamic market.
Do you have what it takes?
- Degree or equivalent experience in Supply Chain Management, Business or a related field preferred.
- At least 2-3 years supply chain planning experience.
- Strong academic credentials with demonstrated ability to excel in a collaborative environment.
- Data presentation and analysis using data analytic tools like excel/Power BI or Tableau.
- Experience with planning system like SAP, Kinaxis etc.
- Concern for impact- Takes action to have an intended or desired effect on others/ Risk mitigation and opportunity sensing.
- Results orientation- complete planning routines and ensure line of sight to performance metrics with planning tasks/Takes appropriate action to achieve objectives.
- Critical Information Seeking- Seeks different options for scenario planning/Gathers key information to diagnose a problem.
- Thrives in a role that is dynamic and where changes are seen as opportunities and a natural part of a growing business. Adopts a curious and approach outside own functional area to drive continuous E2E process improvement.
