A market leader in the Telco industry is seeking a HR Manager to join their fast-growing organisation.

The Role:

Reporting to the HR Director, you will front the full-spectrum of Learning and Development – from the planning & execution of HR corporate strategies (e.g. streamlining Learning Management Systems, analysing metrics for trainings like learning needs analysis), as well as stakeholder management across the business to drive continuous change for the retention and development of top talent. You will also play a pivotal in the firm’s recruitment strategies, owning the function from sourcing, interviewing, offer negotiation and salary benchmarking. You will work closely with hiring managers on understanding their hiring needs, and being a key advisor talent acquisition strategies. Lastly, you will drive the firm’s employee engagement programmes and take charge of monitoring the budgets of ongoing HR projects.

Requirements:

• The qualified individual will have a minimum degree in Human Resources, or General Business Management, with minimum of 8 years relevant Human Resource experience targeted toward Learning and Development.
• You should be systems savvy (e.g. Learning Management System, ATS Systems) with interest in process improvement initiatives, and excellent communication skills.

ROLE OVERVIEW

The Head of Cultural Programming, Mandala Club is responsible for the brand guardianship of the cultural program in the club. The position comes with the responsibility of leading the strategy and direction of the cultural events and happenings at the club. The role must ensure that the event is of the highest quality, fitting the Mandala brand standard of best in class.

The role includes conceptualizing and overseeing the cultural segments of hero, ritual, music, F&B, and membership events. This may also involve overseeing the communication of these events to stakeholders such as the Events, Marketing, and Operations teams. It also consists in ensuring all marketing collaterals are done according to guidelines and executed on time, ensuring culture events always fall within brand guidelines and are held to a standard worthy of our goals to be the best members club in the region, and ensuring that culture events always fall within brand guidelines and are held to a standard worthy of our goals to be the best members club in the region.

The role must take a holistic ownership of each event from start to finish. This role also includes managing events from start to finish, including staff management, overseeing event coordination and member relations, and ensuring vendor payments are made promptly.

This is a front-facing role, key in managing external partners and members. It requires hosting key events and rituals and gathering feedback for better implementation.

An important note is that this role, unlike most positions in the business, is not purely based on driving revenue. This is a membership retention and value of membership position.

KEY OBJECTIVES & DELIVERABLES

• Delivery of a robust, engaging, enriching monthly cultural calendar that celebrates the arts, music, and wellness.
• Create elevated experiences to the highest standard based on our ever-changing membership demographics.
• Being the face of the Cultural program, meeting members to hear their ideas
• Be on the lookout for culturally significant happenings in the world and Singapore.
• Delivering the program following set timelines
• Establish, manage, and grow relationships with key speakers, personalities, influencers, and companies to support the cultural calendar best.
• Developing third-party partnerships with luxury brands to add more presence to the event calendar
• Deliver a program rich in quality rather than quantity. Quality control is of the utmost importance
• Always compare the standing of our events against our peers. Mandala strives to be the best in class; the cultural calendar reflects this.
• Liaise with various Mandala Club departments and teams (marketing, membership, event ops) to plan events, ensure understanding of deliverables, and manage ongoing communications.
• Schedule, organize, and chair weekly cultural event meetings to review and discuss upcoming events and future planning.
• Ensure that all events are executed to the highest standards, and gather feedback from members on the event experience. Liaise with the events, operations, and membership teams to run seamless events for the members.
• Drive capacity to all events and manage a system that ensures as many members enjoy the events hosted
• Lead Marketing and Events team to support the execution of partnerships through marketing assets and event management.
• Support forming new Mandala venues by acting as the gatekeeper for culture and programming.
• Focus on developing the creativity community within the club

• Handle both accounts receivable and accounts payable function
• Performing general accounts duties, reconcile the accounts receivable ledger that all payments are accounted for and properly posted
• Processing transaction, issuing checks, updating legers, budgets
• Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual management accounts
• Accounting for, preparing and submitting GST returns
• Working capital and cash flow management
• Monitor weekly and monthly cash flows
• Preparing Inter-company reconciliation & bank reconciliation statement and resolving open items
• Coordination with IRAS for tax matters
• Coordinate with regional/branch offices
• Assisting with audit, general administrative duties or any ad-hoc duties as assigned by superior

Job Requirements:

• Diploma in Accountancy / Diploma in Commerce or any other equivalent qualification
• At least 2 -3 years of basic accounting experience
• Expert knowledge in Microsoft Office such as excel and word
• Strong knowledge of compliance
• Basic accounting experience

Responsibilities:

• Provide day to day support in HR and administrative functions.
• Assist to verify business expense claims and leave records where applicable.
• Maintenance of employees p-files and HR documents.
• Screening of job applications, scheduling of interviews and interview candidates for assigned job positions.
• Assist with coordination of new hires on-boarding programme and conduct orientation.
• Handle training administration and coordination, including registration of training courses.
• Manage in-house Learning Management System on uploading events, sessions and completion of e-Learning modules.
• Co-ordinate, organize appointments and meetings with departmental secretaries, where required.
• Monitor and maintain an adequate inventory of office and grocery supplies.

Requirements:

• Min GCE 'O' Level
• 2 to 3 years of experience handling HR & Admin duties.
• Ability to work independently and cohesively with fellow colleagues as part of a team, reliable, meticulous, pro-active with good follow-up skills.

Working Location: Raffles Place

Working Hours: Mon- Fri 8.30am - 6.00pm

Salary: Up to $3,400
