Gym Tonic:

• Implement Gym Tonic therapy programmes.

Description of the Role

This role encompasses diverse types of communication work, including consumer PR, IMC, and stakeholders management. The primary focus is on the consumer tech sector, requiring interaction with clients in industries such as smart gadgets, smartphones, and related technologies across Southeast Asia, including Singapore, Thailand, Malaysia, Indonesia, Philippine, and Taiwan.

Scope of the Role

Client Servicing & Project Management

• Serve as the primary contact point for consumer tech clients, including client from the regional team and the local PR team.
• Manage day-to-day account deliverables, including client servicing, third-party liaison, proposal development, and on-site support.
• Monitor project progress and ensure all stakeholders (client, internal teams, third parties) are kept updated throughout the process.
• Guide Account Executives and Interns on projects, fostering a collaborative environment.
• Contribute to account administration duties such as billing, activity reports, and other operational needs.

Strategy & Research

• Fully support research and brainstorming for new business pitches and existing clients. This includes competitor analysis, market landscape insights, tagline ideation, communication opportunity identification, and message house building.
• Collaborate on developing integrated communications plans under supervisor guidance, including key messaging, positioning, and new business proposals.
• Conduct research to maintain a deep understanding of clients' businesses, industries, and market trends.

Content Creation

• Create engaging content such as pitch letters, news releases, newsletters, reports, and other communication materials tailored to the consumer tech audience or other style that required by client (e.g. lifestyle & fashion, photography, branding, etc.).
• Identify emerging industry and media trends to craft relevant content and narratives.
• Support the ideation and development of messaging frameworks and taglines for campaigns.

Media & Influencer Relations

• Build and maintain media and influencer lists.
• Handle media and influencer inquiries and proactively identify opportunities for client exposure.
• Develop and strengthen relationships with media and influencers to amplify client messaging and secure coverage.
• Monitor media and social key data points via Meltwater and other tools, to identify and summarize trends or key coverage that affects the client’s business.

Event Management

• Coordinate events, activations, and promotions for clients, ensuring flawless execution and alignment with campaign objectives.
• Assist with vendor and partner management related to client events, ensuring high-quality delivery under supervisor guidance.

Requirements of the Role

• Degree and/or post-graduate degree in Public Relations, Political Science, Media, Communication, Journalism, Marketing, or related fields.
• Proficient in listening/writing/speaking/reading English is a must; Able to communicate and collaborate daily with overseas foreign colleagues and other stakeholders (e.g. media & KOL) via email and necessary tools (e.g. WhatsApp, WeChat, LINE, Viber, etc.)
• 2-4 years of experience in consumer tech communication or PR or similar roles.
• Proven ability to manage projects independently and liaise with clients effectively.
• Strong copywriting skills, particularly in crafting content for the consumer tech audience or lifestyle audience.
• Strong research and analytical abilities.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with experience working in cross-functional teams. Independent, can-do attitude.
• Computer skills: MS Office (Word, PPT, Excel, Outlook), Google Docs/Slides/Sheets/Forms/Drive, Tencent Meeting/Zoom/Teams. Ability to use AI related tools (GPT, Gemini, Midjourney, Meltwater, etc.) is a plus.
• Capable of multitasking, prioritizing tasks, and meeting tight deadlines.

Job Responsibilities

• Provide support and guidance for the team and infra environment.
• Design, plan, and implement system architectures that are high performing, scalable, fault tolerant, secure, and compliant.
• Solution design for Enterprise services managed services, IT infrastructure architecting, application sizing and designing infrastructure for critical systems.
• To lead, plan and manage the Infra team and support for projects for the existing system in the customer bank communicating with internal/external stakeholders.
• For any change request is raised, understand the customer’s expectation, discuss with the customer and development team to fix the requirement and specification.
• Provide the support for the customer in any incidents/clarification on existing system
• Expected to perform Hands-on activity like investigating, fixing, testing and release.
• Any other duties as assigned

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer science (or related field)
• Proven track record of strategizing and designing IT networks & Infrastructure for enterprise or financial services institutions
• Proven Experience in IT Infrastructure sizing and capacity planning
• Strong working knowledge of Enterprise servers / Virtual Architecture / SAN environments. Design, Implementation, Administration and Support
• Proven experience in managing and facilitating the mix of internal teams and external vendors
• Experience in full SDLC cycle with waterfall model.
• Experience of managing Windows & Linux system implementation/migration projects
• Ability to multi-task, organize, and prioritize work
• Knowledge and expertise in Windows OS, Linux OS, SQL, IBM MQ, IBM Connect: Direct and Failover Cluster designs
• Experience of making design specifications
• Strong Analytical and problem-solving skills
• Experience in Oracle, Hitachi JP1
• Cybersecurity experience
• Knowledge of MS Office 365 / Azure
