Job Description

i) To work with the PM to comply with environmental, health & safety (EHS) laws laws, advise PM on environmental remediation measures, carry out site inspections and to engage workers and stakeholders on maintaining good environmental health standards

ii) Work with the PM to draw up, implement and monitor effective environmental management plans, including reviewing them when necessary:

· Prepare & submit to the PM the Site Environmental Control Programme before work commences at the worksite.

· Prepare & submit to the PM the Site Environmental Control Report once every two weeks.

iii) Inspect the construction site to ensure all facilities, equipment and operations do not pose any environmental health hazard;

iv) Inspect the on-site canteen, worker’s quarters, if any, and dining areas to ensure that good hygiene practices are being observed, and the areas are well maintained with good housekeeping.

v) Identify and discuss environmental health irregularities or potential lapses with the PM, and recommend corresponding measures to prevent or rectify such concerns;

vi) Attend to all feedback on any irregularities and inform the PM accordingly;

vii) Assist the authorities to investigate outbreaks of infectious, vector-borne or food-borne diseases at the construction site; and

viii) Organise campaigns, training courses and other activities, where required, to develop and sustain the interest of workers in maintaining good environmental health standards.

ix) Conduct inspection of the ECM at the worksite in accordance to ECM plan

x) Maintain records of all inspections.

• Work closely w/ related CSM using the McKinsey Cleansheet system to do the should cost model creation, related data gathering & validation, and should cost vs. current price gap analysis & the identify the continuous cost improvement opportunity.
  
• Work w/ related should cost champion to quarterly evaluate, validate should cost w/ the CSM. Report the should cost related KPI including saving opportunity, should cost coverage/adherence rate etc.
  
• Further enhance should cost related process and system efficiency and improve the data visualization through dashboard development.
  
• Continuously work w/ CSM & SMAI team to apply process enhancement & automation for the should cost related activities.
  
• Support Design for Cost efforts between Sourcing, Engineering and Business units;
  

Requirements

• Familiar w/ the product cost analysis including identifying the cost structure, investigate the cost element and continuously explore cost improvement opportunities.
  
• Deep knowledge on the related commodities including operation process, equipment running cost, technical specification and raw material consumption etc and could build the cost model independently.
  
• Strong project management skill and able to cooperate effectively with the related stakeholder and drive the business performance. PM certification is a plus.
  
• Able to do the cost related market intelligence analysis to facilitate the related data collection.
  
• Solid system development skill including the knowledge of SQL, Power BI, Tableau, ML/AI etc.
  
• Experience of the McKinsey Cleansheet system or similar cost analysis system is a must.
  
• Fluent oral & written English is a must

Reporting to the Chief Financial Officer, you will drive all matters relating to Enterprise Risk Management (ERM) within the organisation.

Roles & Responsibilities

• Lead the development of fit-for-purpose ERM framework and policies
• Develop and maintain organisation wide risk appetite including monitoring of adherence to the risk appetite through associated Key Risk Indicators (KRIs)
• Lead and/or support all phases of the design and delivery of the overall ERM plan, including but not limited to risk identification, monitoring, and controlling activities that include threat scanning and KRIs reviews.
• Supervise and undertake ERM projects that meet organisational imperatives, departmental and other appropriate standards.
• Lead risk assessments of assigned department or functional areas including the review of risk registers and the development of key risk management tools and templates
• Influence and facilitate changes to improve the controls environment to mitigate risks to an acceptable level.
• Key business partner to maintain and develop relationships with key stakeholders to help ensure the ERM plan carried out adequately addresses the key risks in the Organization.
• Advice, train, execute communication and outreach initiatives to nurture a culture focused on identifying and managing risks impacting the Organization’s ability to achieve its strategic and operational objectives
• Go-to person as the COE for risk management matters including advisory and solutioning
• Prepare and assist with the appropriate Management and Audit & Risk Committee reporting.

Job Requirements

• Strong risk management background, preferably with 10 years of relevant working experience
• Possess professional qualifications such as CRMA, CISA, CIA or COSO ERM certified
• Able to work independently, as well as maintain seamless interactions with the various teams and business units across the organization
• Strong ethics and professional integrity with ability to demonstrate discretion, respect confidentiality and sensitivity of information
• Strong team leader with ability to coach, inspire, motivate a team to deliver.
• Strong analytical skills and ability to focus on the details and see the ‘big picture’
• Sound project management capabilities to organize, priorities and meet deadlines
