1. The primary responsibility for the role is to initiate contact with potential and existing customers to generate and qualify sales leads, promote the company’s entire suite of services and “products / supply chain solutions“ and identify sales opportunities. NIE invites suitable candidates to join the Corporate Planning & Development Office (CPDO) as a Senior/Assistant Manager, Corporate Planning and Development (3-year contract).

Job Description

• Liaise with NTU counterparts, such as the Office of Health and Safety, to implement and coordinate new initiatives and share and distribute information relating to workplace health and safety matters within NIE to meet NTU expectations.
• Formulate, implement, and evaluate new and existing health and safety policies and services to build a strong safety and health culture within the NIE community and ensure compliance with relevant regulations and NTU expectations.
• Facilitate Enterprise Risk Management programme, which includes reviewing & tracking the key risks identified in the risk register.
• Support assistant directors in the department in various corporate planning initiatives, such as crisis/incident management and Enterprise Risk Management, etc.
• Provide administrative/secretariat support for activities/committees/meetings by the department.

Requirements

• A University degree.
• At least three years of relevant experience in occupational workplace health and safety management, with practical knowledge and experience in implementing safety programs, conducting risk assessments, and ensuring compliance with local regulations.
• Strong experience in ISO documentation, including ISO 45001, would be preferred.
• Registered Workplace Safety and Health Officer (WSHO) would be advantageous.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Applications and strong in Excel.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills and an eye for detail.
• Highly motivated individual who can multi-task and work independently.
• Ability to work well under pressure with different levels of people.

Job Description:

• Support to Production / Project management Team
• Projects based - Minutes taking, correspondence, filing, documents status, administering register, reports, and other project related matters
• Follow up of letters to Sub-Con/Supplier Register and Status, JCF/WCF etc.
• Follow up of Stationery/Pantry (stock,issue) for Client and Production request.
• Follow up on matters regarding document approval, staff movement etc.
• Meeting Room Booking
• Any other tasks assigned by Superior

Job Requirement:

• Diploma in Engineering or Businese Administration
• Able to write minutes meeting
• Experiences in Project Administration works in Marine or Oil & Gas industry
• Good communicative skills, able to interact with people of all levels and teamwork
• PC Literate

Responsibilities:

• Ideate, prioritize, and define requirements based on market and customer insights.
• Analyze trends, assess technology, and generate product concepts.
• Define competitive positioning and USP.
• Execute NPD plan within timelines, aligning Scrum teams via Agile.
• Source manufacturers, liaise with formulators, and ensure regulatory compliance.
• Conduct efficacy, safety, and stability tests with manufacturers.
• Finalize product specs, labels, and packaging with relevant teams.
• Research pricing, create costing data, and present to management.
• Provide technical support to Marketing and conduct product training.
• Monitor industry trends, competitor actions, and product performance.
• Manage product improvements and corrective actions with manufacturers.
• Ensure compliance with standards and support company goals with additional projects.

Requirements:

• Degree in Nutrition/ Chemistry/Pharmacy or equivalents.
• Minimum 1 year of experience in product development or management within dietary supplements or health food.
• Proficient in product/project management, with strong planning and time management skills.
• Resourceful, analytical, and effective at problem-solving.
