We are looking for a Research Fellow to take the role as tech lead. The role will focus on investigating proton exchange membrane eater electrolyze and the related catalysts.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop innovative research methodologies, frameworks, or prototypes relevant to the project goals and objectives.
• Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders on project design, data collection, analysis, and dissemination of findings to ensure impactful outcomes.
• Mentoring graduate and undergraduate students, providing guidance on research techniques, career development, and publication strategies.
• Assist in grant writing by preparing proposals, compiling data, and drafting budgets to secure research funding.
• Maintenance of lab or equipment or supplies including procurement, inventory management, and effective communication with suppliers to ensure operational efficiency.
• Assist or Produce high-quality reports and documents that consolidate research findings, ensuring clarity, precision, and alignment with publication standards.

Job Requirements:

• PhD in Materials, Chemistry, Physics, Chemical Engineering or any relevant science and engineering disciplines
• At least 4 years of relevant experiences in similar role / technical hands-on experience in specific scope
• Experience in materials synthesis/characterizations, gas-phase catalysis and/or theoretical calculations
• A strong track record of research ability and demonstrated contribution to research

PURPOSE

This position reports directly to the Regional Managing Director, South Asia & Oceania.

As the Vice President & Chief of the Regional Corporate Strategy Headquarter, he/she will lead the team at the regional headquarter, overseeing the corporate management of 26 companies in 15 countries, of all matters contributing to organizational development, strengthening of the management base, and governance to realize the NX Group's regional growth strategy.

ROLE & RESPONSIBILITIES

• In charge of making any decisions and executing operations for all matters related to corporate management, including the determination of business plan and organization structure plan, executing capital matters, managing internal control and finance and accounting, and making decisions in human resources for entire South Asia and Oceania region.
• Regional Corporate Strategy Headquarter covers the following departments:
  Risk Management, Human Resources Strategy, Finance and Accounting, Administration, Information System, Safety and Quality Promotion.
• South Asia and Oceania region consist of 26 companies and 3 branches (in Singapore, Malaysia, Thailand, Philippines, Vietnam, Indonesia, Cambodia, Myanmar, Laos, India, Bangladesh, Pakistan, Sri Lanka, Australia, New Zealand).

QUALIFICATION & EXPERIENCE

• Bachelor degree in Business Administration or relevant field
• Minimum of 20 years’ experience in forwarding and logistics.
• Fluent Japanese language skills to communicate with global headquarter in Japan
• Demonstrable experience in developing strategic and business plans.
• Thorough knowledge of market changes and forces that influence the company.
• Familiarity with corporate law and management best practices.

Job Description:

• Assist mainly with AR accounting tasks
• Performing day to day financial transactions, data entry into ERP, recording of bank documentations, and filing of documents
• Reconciliation bank statement and other financial documents
• Assist to create and process vendor invoices on a timely basis
• Manage basic phone calls and respond to email inquiries related to accounting matters
• Any other duties as assigned
