Job Description

The candidate will be responsible for designing and drafting the electrical and instrumentals systems of Ships and Offshore Platform independently. The candidate will interact with Clients, Classification and Statutory bodies and Vendors in the process of design. Candidate to be able to prepare the following drawings independently:

• Single Line Diagram
• Short-Circuit Calculation

• Transformer Load Analysis
• Cable Estimation

Desired Profile

• Min 5 years’ experience of which at least 3 years should be in Marine Design.
• He/She should be conversant with Ship electrical system and classification rules and IEE.
• Skills in Excel, Electrical design software and CAD-tools is required.

• Understand and reasonably interpret contract documents & drawing
• Assist in the tendering process; performance measurement and cost breakdown

Job Requirements:

• 3 years and above experience as QS in construction companies

Resposibilities

• Operate mechanical excavators efficiently and safely in accordance with site requirements.
• Conduct daily safety inspections, including cleaning and lubricating equipment as needed.

Requirements

• Minimum 5 years of experience as a registered Excavator Operator.

1. Ensure standard operating procedures (SOPs) is closely adhered to across organizational departments
2. Allocate quality activities, roles and responsibilities according to functional requirements and individual competencies
3. Ensure departments are operating in alignment with organization’s quality policies
4. Ensure that production work activities meet the required quality requirements
5. Conduct internal QMS audit on documentation where required and reporting of quality-related issues
6. Audit other departments' processes, SOPs and work areas for QA compliance
7. Audit vendors' compliance to organization’s and regulatory quality standards
8. Perform due diligence on vendor quality and to advise on contract renewals and/ or terminations
9. Plan regular internal inspections in accordance with relevant procedures
10. Ensure proper management of equipment and system qualification and validation
11. Execute required tests and inspections in accordance with inspection and test plans (ITPs)
12. Classify identified faults and prioritize corrective measures based on criticality of issues
13. Coordinate testing and commissioning work by team members and other departments
14. Coordinate with classification societies' and owners' representatives for relevant inspections
15. Facilitate continuous improvement of production quality by implementing corrective and preventative actions (CAPA) plans
16. Use quality monitoring data management systems to compile and track performance
17. Analyze quality assessment reports to identify gaps and improvements
18. Conduct transaction monitoring against quality criteria covering in-process quality oversights
19. Collaborate with the Procurement and Engineering departments to analyze the root cause of quality issues and implement quality improvement measures
20. Implement both short and long-term quality solutions in alignment with quality frameworks, policies and requirements
21. Escalate complex issues in improving work products and/or services quality to team members
22. Maintain up-to-date master lists and proper control of all released quality management system (QMS) documents
23. Ensure documents and record-keeping are in compliance with quality procedures for internal and external audits
24. Ensure quality documents related to the project are maintained regularly for final dossier compilation
25. Generate test and audit reports and present results to team members

- Manage incident via in-house incident reporting system and perform investigations, recommend actions and follow up matters arising from these activities,

- Perform Safety Induction Program for all new employees as well as developing and implementing programs to raise employees’ awareness of work risks and to help cultivate a strong safety culture within the organization,

- Review and update WSH requirements in Company’s Safety Management System manual and support safety programs / initiative,
