application or middleware on embedded system (automotive ECU system is preferable) for connectivity and

network functions.

Job Responsibilities

• Design and develop protocol stacks for Vehicle Network/Communication functions or systems

(including but not limited to Ethernet, CAN, LIN, FlexRay, Optical related.)

• Develop subsystem prototyping such as DoIP and SOME/IP stack based ecosystem.

• Lead or participate in product software architecture definition and design which meet automotive OEM

requirement.

Job Description

• Report to Engineering & Technical department.
  
• Prepare detailed engineering drawings and proactively interact with the other related departments for smooth transfer of information.
  
• Knowledge of mooring systems as applied to Oil & Gas / Wind floater and experience in stimulation software such as Orcaflex and Ariane etc.
  
• Learn to perform Finite Element calculations meticulously using NX and ANSYS software in Linear as well as Non-Linear methods.
  
• Generate bill of material from drawings and liaise with procurement team.
  
• Write clear reports for the analysis performed and participate in discussions with clients.
  
• Proactively communicate with sub-fabricators, customers and certification authorities on design specification and to clarify any issues.
  
• Constantly strive to improve engineering practices and quality of documentation.
  
• Follow processes and procedures in line with company’s vision + mission & HSEQA policies.
  

Job Requirement

• Location – Singapore
  
• Minimum Bachelor’s degree in engineering (Naval Architecture or Offshore engineering) or equivalent
  
• Minimum 3 years of working experience in engineering department of a shipyard or design consultancy, of which at least one year of hydrodynamic and mooring analysis related projects.
  
• Proficiency using Orcina suite is a must.
  
• Possess strong AutoCAD and engineering drafting skills e.g., Rhino3D
  
• Candidates with experience using structural analysis software such as ANSYS or NX is an added benefit.

Responsibilities

In this role, you will primarily be responsible for:

· Provide quality checks on digital deliverables, ensuring compliance and continuous improvement with Beca. drawing standards, client and regulatory requirements for both 2D and 3D deliverables.

· Troubleshooting issues with models and projects.

· Mentoring and support BIM team-members.

· Assist job managers and directors in appropriate BIM strategies and technologies on their projects.

· Planning and resourcing delivery aspects of projects.

· Conduct trainings on BIM process.

Pre-Requisites

· Specialist Diploma in BIM or Degree in Mechanical Engineering.

· At least 6 years’ experience in BIM management, modelling and leading position in engineering consulting environment is preferred.

· Familiarity with codes of practice, well-versed with the relevant regulations and a working knowledge of authority submission (Corenet X) and approval procedures.

· High level of experience in both of Revit software and the Autodesk BIM360 suite of collaboration tool systems are required.Competent user of BIM software such as Revit, AutoCAD, Naviswork etc.

· Excellent communication skills, strong ability to organize workload, and prioritization of tasks is required as you will be working with other Beca offices, both to deliver projects and develop resources.

· Able to communicate well among all stakeholders.
