In this programme of work, the tripartite model of adaptability will be used to examine Singapore Physical Education (PE) Teachers’ level of adaptability. The model involves cognitive, behavioural and emotional adaptability and refers to how an individual’s thinking, behaviour and emotions can be modified. In the context of PE teachers, the subject of PE is underpinned by a high level of variability and dynamism of the teaching environment as well as interaction among students and the PE teacher (e.g., physical classroom, CCA, outdoor education, values-based education). Unlike other subjects, the teaching and learning situation can transit quite quickly and there is greater uncertainty on the emergence of students’ learning behaviours as they interact with the learning task and environment.

Job Descriptions:

• Conduct general security related duties
• Manage access control at the different assigned points
• Assist in incident management (E.g. fire, emergency activation)
• Patrolling and conduct inspection of all emergency equipment
• Ensure and manage a smooth traffic flow
• Maintain and update all security occurrence book
• Any other duties that may be assigned from time to time by the superior

Job Requirements:

• Minimum secondary education with at least 2 years of relevant security experiences
• Possess the Private Security License issued by the Security Industry Regulatory Department (SIRD)
• AED or First-Aid certified, an added advantage
• Positive work attitude with strong service skill
• Able to work rotating schedules including weekends and publics holidays.
• Able to work night shift is preferred.

Responsibilities:

• Solicit and chase leads for phone repair services.
• Plan horizontally like selling IT maintenance services to SMEs, Repair department and/or similar phone manufacturers and sellers.
• Troubleshoot PC or mobile phones.
• Perform basic repairs such as changing a phone screen or battery,
• Resolve simple software issues on both iOS and Android devices.
• Plan and sell vertically.
• Assist and follow-up on customers' query when necessary.

Requirements:

• Qualifications from ITE and/or Polytechnics are accepted
• Relevant experience in selling and repairing mobile devices and gadgets will be an added advantage
• Have basic knowledge of computer software/hardware
• Good customer service skills
