• Lead and participate in key performance indicators for improving laboratory efficiency, monitoring equipment performance.
• Lead QC Department training program by imparting training to new staff and comply with Analyst Qualification procedure.
• Escalate the quality events, trends as appropriate to QC Head.
• Remain abreast of current regulatory, pharmacopeia and cGMP trends.
• Serve as subject matter expert on laboratory instrumentation and compliance issues.
• Lead the QC team, evaluate competencies, assign responsibilities, monitor performance, counsel and provide guidance. Plan & monitor the training and development requirements, motivate staff appropriately to build a committed, motivated & competent team.
• Participate in personnel decisions (interviewing, hiring, performance appraisals, promotions, termination, staff development, improvement plans) regarding subordinate staff.
• Maintains a safe laboratory environment by implementing recommendations made by EHS.
• Initiate CAPEX for equipment purchases.
• Support in budget preparation for QC Laboratory.
• Any other activities as and when assigned by the Superior.

JOB REQUIREMENTS:

• EDUCATION: Degree in science or related discipline (e.g. Chemistry, Chemical Engineering).
• EXPERIENCE: Minimum 8 years of quality control experience in pharmaceutical manufacturing industry and minimum 2 years of supervisory experience in managing team.

KNOWLEDGE & SKILLS:

• Possess working knowledge of GMP in the pharmaceutical industry.
• Excellent interpersonal and analytical skills, good verbal, and written communication skills.
• Working knowledge of qualification, calibration, and operation of laboratory equipment such as HPLC, GC, FTIR and Dissolution equipment.
• Working knowledge of method development, validation, verification of analytical method.
• Familiarity of 21 CFR Part 11 requirements.

RESPONSIBILITIES

At THK EIC Services, a Psychologist's typical work involves applying evidence-based methods to assess the clients' developmental needs, devising treatment plans, delivery of intervention, and monitoring & reviewing the clients' progress together with the trans-disciplinary team. They are also involved in various projects/ research to improve client outcomes.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to the following:

Assessments and Transition Support

• Administer cognitive tests (e.g., WPPSI, SAS)
• Conduct caregiver interview using tools such as Vineland
• Liaison work with caregivers or for caregivers, or other professionals for assessment and school application purposes
• Write assessment reports
• Transition support for clients / families

Facilitation

• Workshops for caregivers and staff e.g. positive behaviour support

Data Management

• To collate and submit required data in a timely manner e.g. submission of CODRF scores and Functional Age Estimates (FAE)
• Manage SPA database with other Psychologists or Psychologist Associates

Interventions

• Supervision and support of fellow Psychologists, Associate Psychologists and Masters' interns as required
• Support teachers in classroom to engage clients and reduce behaviour with evidence-based behaviour intervention strategies
• Home visits / school visits / intervention with family, as required
• Implement of social skills groups in classrooms
• Participate in trans-disciplinary team meetings: contributing behavioural descriptions of the children from observations, and supporting with intervention strategies

• Minimum Master's degree in Educational or Clinical Psychology from a recognized institution
• Eligible for registration or Registered with the Singapore Psychological Society (SPS)
• Good understanding and/or previous experience working with young children with developmental needs and their families preferred
