RESPONSIBILITIES

Officer contributes actively to the programme needs of Special Student Care Centre under the umbrella of Community-Based Support Services (CSS).

CSS is the dynamic and nimble service delivery arm in MINDS that response to emerging needs of PWIDs and Caregivers in the community. Examples of services include Me Too! Club, Homebased Care Services, Caregivers Support Services, Special Student Care Centres and Appropriate Adult Services to enhance integration and community living of caregivers and PWIDs in the community.

Officer integrates a range of person centred and family centric approaches and utilise Positive Behavioural framework to conduct enrichment activities for special needs children from age 7 to 18. He/She enriches the quality of life of person with special needs by supervising and providing direct physical care needs before/after school. POSITION PURPOSE

This individual is responsible for managing a team of production employees and packaging material resources to meet customer order fulfillment. Responsible for production planning activities to optimize the manpower & material resources in meeting customers on-time delivery.

This incumbent manages all the production (after the BFS process) aspects of the company.

NATURE AND SCOPE

A. Report Relationship – This position reports directly to the Director of Operations.

B. General Department Overview - responsible for managing a team of production employees and packaging material resources in meeting customer order fulfillment. And responsible for production planning activities to optimize manpower & material resources.

C. Areas of Responsibility –

• Manages manpower & packaging material resources to meet customer on time delivery
• Supervise and evaluate performance of production packing employees
• Manages production planning activities to optimize resources in meeting customer order fulfillment.
• Coordinate with other departmental heads in meeting common Company’s objectives
• Prepare cost and budgets to ensure workflow meets Company’s objectives
• Organize workflow to meet specifications and Company’s objectives
• Ensure accurate inventory control in the production shop floor
• Ensure safe & proper housekeeping in the production shop floor
• Drive continuous improvement in the production packaging related processes
• Ensure compliance to ISO procedures, GMP, quality standards and all other regulatory requirements including safety precautions.
• Reporting to top management on production metrics
• Undertakes to carry out any other duties as assigned by the superior / management

G. Requirements – Diploma / Degree in Production Management or equivalent with good written and verbal communication skills. SAP knowledge will be an advantage

• Perform histological testing encompassing sample accessioning, tissue processing, embedding, microtomy, and re-embedding of tissue specimens.
• Perform routine H&E stain, special stains as well as immunohistochemistry (IHC) and in-situ hybridization (ISH) stains according to Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
• Perform slide scanning and macrodissection as required according to Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
• Evaluate sample acceptability based on established guidelines and process specimens for analysis in accordance with established written procedures.
• Accurately evaluate test results according to standardized protocols.
• Maintain quality control measures during testing to ensure compliance with established quality standards. Document corrective and preventative actions with good documentation practices.
• Maintain overview of reagent inventory.
• Assist in the proper maintenance and servicing of laboratory equipment in line with manufacturer specifications and Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
• Participate in internal and external quality assessment as required.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in a biomedical or biological science from an accredited college or university.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in a biomedical, Immunology or biological science from an accredited college or university.
• Minimum 2 years of working experience in a flow cytometry laboratory will be preferred.
• Proven experience with flow cytometry, including instrument operation and data analysis.
• Strong understanding of flow cytometry principles and techniques.
• Familiarity with immunophenotyping other common applications of flow cytometry will be preferred.
• Good analytical skills with keen attention to detail and organizational skills.
