Role

The Art Therapist is to work with children and families of all ages and backgrounds using the visual arts as a medium for healing, awareness and self-development. The aim is to help their clients express intense emotion and explore their thoughts in a non-verbal way, using a wide range of art materials. The intention is not a focus on the artistic skills of the client but their engagement in a creative personal process. They work in either a group or one-to-one setting and provide a safe and secure environment for clients to work through their emotions. Art therapists also work closely with other professionals as part of a multidisciplinary team.

Responsibilities

Responsibilities include but are not limited to the following:

• Taking referrals, including self-referrals and referrals from other professionals such as teachers, psychologists, occupational therapists and speech language pathologists;
• Making referrals to other professionals;
• Attending meetings and case conferences to share ideas, expertise and good practice;
• Assessing the needs of the children and families by listening and providing guidance;
• Working creatively with various client groups in a therapeutic setting;
• Working in a group or one-to-one setting, often as part of a multidisciplinary team of professionals;
• Enabling clients to explore their art work and the process of its production;
• Assessing and understanding the feelings or temperament of others;
• Constructively challenging the behaviour and attitude of clients;
• Keeping up to date with administration: making phone calls; writing reports and case notes; and drafting letters to other professionals;
• Planning, designing and facilitating a schedule of activities with individuals and groups;
• Maintaining art therapy space and materials;
• Receiving support and discussing ideas in individual supervision;
• Exploring opportunities for work where it may not currently exist;
• Presenting a case to other professionals on reasons for employing an art therapist;
• Explaining what art therapy is to colleagues and other practitioners;
• Keeping up to date with continuing professional development (CPD) by attending seminars, lectures, and workshops;
• Liaising with team members

• Master of Arts in Art Therapy from recognised institutions
• Registration with relevant Professional Body or Art Therapy Association

· Clean and wash utility production containers

· Support to general maintenance (cleaning) of production areas

· Disposal of any empty containers and trash material and any scrap i.e. broken pallets

· Sample contents and affix labels as needed

· Weigh, label and pack products according to manufacturing orders

· Ensure accuracy during dispensing and weighing

· Verify manufactured quantity against packaging quantity

· Move products to designated áreas

· Report any equipment malfunction

· Mixing any formulas as required and assigned

· According to specifications, performs the dispensing and/or weighting of raw materials for manufacturing orders of compounding fragrances as required

· Ensure accuracy during dispensing and weighing. (Knowledge of raw materials Will have an effect on quality)

· Possess forklift license is an advantage

· Perform other incidental and related duties as required and assigned

Salary: $2100 - $2500

5-day work week, 9-6pm

Responsibilities for Administrative Clerk:

• Prefer with relevant experience in administrative work in the contractor/cleaning industries
• Supplier management and issuance of purchase orders for the company
• Procurement of cleaning and renovation materials from suppliers
• Issue invoice, work order and field service report.
• Prepare ISO9001 audit documentation.
• GST filing and submission.
• Account receivable duties - chase clients for outstanding payments.
• Book-keeping and filing
• Cross departmental communication to coordinate schedules, prepare essential documentation, including memos, reports, and other forms of communication.
• Regularly check and maintain record of necessary office supplies, and other administration management.
• Other ad-hoc administrative as required

Qualifications for Administrative Clerk

• At least 3 years of experience in administrative clerk or related positions
• Experience working in cleaning or contractor industry preferred
• Familiarity with productivity tools, such as Microsoft Office Suite
• Working knowledge of or ability to learn to use office equipment, including printers, fax machines, and phone systems
• Strong communication skills and customer service
• The ability to work independently and seek help or assistance as needed
• Self-motivated and highly organized
• Distinctly dependable and trustworthy, with a strong and proven work ethic

• Good knowledge in producing pastry & bakery products
• Able to commend & control of Halal, ISO 22,000 central kitchen environment
• Ability to do costing and maintain cost effectiveness of production
• Min 3 year experience
• Required basic computer skill, and language skill
