Our senior executive in Human Resources will provide day-to-day operational HR services to line managers for our Singapore manufacturing plant, on top of establishing and executing the learning and development processes and system. He/she will also partake in HRMS transition and data integrity.

Duties and Responsibilities

1. Develop and deliver training programs to equip line managers with the skills and knowledge to effectively manage performance matters.
2. Provide ongoing coaching and upskilling of the line managers on performance management best practices.
3. Collaborate with line managers to identify and document the essential competencies and key skills required for each job level, ensuring compliance with ISO9001 standards.
4. Partner with line managers to develop and implement On-the-Job Training (OJT) checklists that align with identified competencies.
5. Work closely with line managers to assess business manpower needs and develop strategies to fulfill those needs in a timely and cost-effective manner.
6. Ensure accurate and timely processing of monthly payroll.
7. Contribute actively to the team's efforts in transitioning to a new HR Management System (HRMS).
8. Timely and accurate administration of leave and payroll.
9. Meet manpower needs in a timely, cost-effective and efficient manner.
10. Institute a robust employee competency, training and development structure

Qualifications and Skills

1. Degree in Business Admin, preferably major in HRM
2. At least 3 years of human resources experience in a unionised manufacturing environment
3. Excellent working knowledge of labour legislation e.g. CPF, Employment Act etc.
4. Strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills
5. Supervisory, organisational and coordination skills with other qualities like perseverance, independence, initiative etc.
