Under the general direction of the Front Office Manager and Director of Rooms, and within the limited of established IHG and local hotel policies and procedures, provides supportive functional assistance to all departments; interact with guests and members of the community. They will also coordinate with all other departments within the hotel.

This job is the Managerial Role at a full-service hotel or at a regional extended-stay hotel. Report to Front Office Manager.
Typically supervises overall operations under Hotel’s Butler Team, in support and partnership with Front Office, Club InterContinental and Uniformed Services Teams.

YOUR DAY TO DAY

Financial Returns

• Assists in coordinating the preparation of the departmental annual budget.
• Controls and monitors departmental costs on an ongoing basis to ensure performance against budget
• Participate in the preparation of the annual departmental operating budget and financial plans. Monitor budget and control labor costs and expenses with a focus on rate strategy, building initiatives and inventory management.

Job Description & Requirements

The Sales Manager keeps well-informed about the operations of the property and market trends, as well as the competition; hunts for new sales leads and promotes the property as often as possible through networking, cold calling, site inspections, presentations etc., to build the client/member base. • Undertake the compilation of statutory financial statements and unaudited accounts which comply with the Financial Reporting Standards and the preparation of financial statements in XBRL language for client companies.

• Provide insight on Singapore tax-related matters, such as corporate tax, GST, and withholding tax, as needed.

REQUIREMENTS:

• Possess a recognized degree in accounting and hold an equivalent professional qualification like ACCA.

• Demonstrated expertise in Singapore Financial Reporting Standards (SFRS) and a strong understanding of relevant accounting regulations.

• A minimum of 5 - 10 years of progressive experience within an accounting/outsourcing firm with some managerial experience or the potential to step into a managerial role.

• Strong leadership and supervisory skills with the ability to inspire and guide teams toward outstanding results.

• Capable of handling consolidations and technical topics on SFRS and IFRS.

• Demonstrate knowledge and experience in handling ACRA and IRAS reporting requirements, ensuring accuracy and adherence to relevant guidelines.

• Knowledge and/or experience providing accounting solutions for offshore jurisdictions advantageous but not mandatory.
