Key Responsibilities

Financial Planning and Management Reporting

· Drive Management Reporting and Financial Planning cycles, including long-term strategic planning and periodic forecasting forecast, budget and Mid Term Plan.

· Develop and coordinate the BSAPIC enterprise process for forecasts, budgets, and mid/long-term plans:

1. Understand global reporting requirements and inputs needed for accurate financial figures and scenarios.

Job Requirements

Job scope

As part of the Regional SME & Midcap marketing team, you are embedded with the sales and product business teams to translate business priorities into an actionable communication strategy for the segment. It will be in your scope to drive and execute marketing activations and engagement opportunities to prospect, upsell and cross-sell. You need to plan and operationalise SME marketing activations across IBG led thematic & “Whole of Govt” engagement initiatives (Sustainability, Regional Connectivity, Digitalisation etc) and support Midcap marketing engagements (but not limited to):
• Develop and drive activation/ event execution: From pre-event planning to post event evaluation, across all logistics & administrative tasks. – With consideration to drive awareness to conversion

The Job

• Working as part of the wider Regulatory Reporting team supporting the implementation of Finance Reporting Risk and Control framework by:
• Supporting the end-to-end review of the regulatory reporting process
• Establishing appropriate regulatory reporting controls applicable to downstream regulatory reporting processes based on risk assessments to ensure that the Group’s Regulatory Reporting Framework is met and fully adhered to at site Finance level.
• Liaising with Finance & Actuarial teams to ensure that all key risks within their activities and operations are identified, mitigated, and monitored by an appropriate control environment that is commensurate with risk appetite under the Integrity of Regulatory Reporting “IRR” framework.
• Providing effective governance, challenging and reporting of key risks and controls within Finance.
• Monitoring the ongoing effectiveness of key controls to gain assurance that they are operating in line with risk appetite, regulatory and the bank's requirements. This includes developing monitoring plan, monitoring progress against plan, executing control monitoring, reporting results and developing action plans.
• Monitoring the on-time completion of issues remediation and assessing adequacy of remediation actions are sufficiently address the risk implications. Issues include self-identified issues by Finance, audit findings, internal control issues, and regulatory observations.
• Building effective working relationships within the Finance team at both a local and group level.
• Required to engage regularly with other stakeholders including second line Risk function and Compliance teams, to ensure effective communication and timely resolution of issues as an integral part of the Regulatory Reporting Risk monitoring.
• There may occasionally be exposure to other non-control related activities as well as involvement in coordinating audit activities, assurance review activities, preparing Board papers and other regulatory initiatives.

The Talent

• 8-10 years of relevant working experience in the Finance, Risk & Compliance, Actuarial or Audit functions
• Experience in Regulatory reporting in the insurance industry would be a preferred.
• Understanding of core principles of IFRS4 & 17 is beneficial.
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills to work with a diverse group of colleagues at different levels.
• Possess good understanding of SOX, audit, compliance and risk requirements.
