Responsibilities

Sample Preparation

• Receive and label all samples brought into the lab for accountability.
• Prepare samples from drying, crushing, splitting and pulverising.

Quality Control

• Communicate with Managers, supervisors, production team, show directors and stage management team members in supporting fittings and design and planning needs for USS daily operations and Special Events rehearsals and performances
• Assist with stocking and monitoring costume workshop supplies
• Assist with cleaning and maintaining equipment.
• Attend safety training courses and consistently adhere to WSH guidelines

Job Requirements:

• With Diploma or equivalent: 4 - 5 years of related experience in the following industries: theatrical, film, television, resort or theme park
• Without Diploma or equivalent: 6 - 7 years of related experience in the following industries: theatrical, film, television, resort or them park
• Thorough understanding of backstage etiquette and the ability to teach others.
• Skilled at painting and carpentry techniques
• Some experience in designing and fabricating props and puppets preferred

Primarily focused more on:

• Provide strong metrology services to customer's equipment with timely calibrated and maintained tools.
• To Support on-site service request guidelines .
• Identify and recommend customers appropriate inventory type and quantity of inventory supply of critical equipment service parts
• Perform verification/calibration/preventive maintenance (PM) kits and service tools replacement to minimize instrument downtime and budget planning.
• Create and ensure documentation in internal system (Training, Service Reports, Vendor Review)
• Work closely with internal and external stakeholder and vendor management.

Job Requirement:

• Preferably experience related equipment maintenance/repair.
• Tertiary qualification in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering, or a related field.

QUALITY TECHNICIAN

Overview

To perform incoming inspection of purchased material.

Responsibilities

• Perform independent receiving inspections of raw materials and incoming parts to ensure parts meet quality standards.
• Review material certifications against drawings and purchase order to ensure compliance to specifications.
• Document all inspection and test results appropriately to ensure the integrity of the quality data recording and reporting process.
• Respond timely to requests for engineering assistance and inspections.
• Identify and segregate non-conforming material.
• Re-inspect sorted or reworked material as required.
• Perform First Article Qualification to ensure part compliance.
• Comply and adhere to company Quality Management System and Environment, Health & Safety requirements.
• Perform other tasks assigned by Supervisor.

Your Profile

• ITE, NTC, NITEC with minimum 5 years of relevant working experience or Diploma in related fields with minimum 3 years of relevant working experience.
• Must have experience in using basic measurement instruments and First Article Qualifications
• Preferably have GD&T knowledge
