The Go Kart Maintenance Technician will be responsible for the maintenance, repairs, and upkeep of concession Go-Karts under the direction of the Operations Manager and Ride Manager. He / She is required to have a good understanding of electrical components and mechanical systems of a concession Go Kart and be hands on in ensuring that the highest serviceability levels are achieved.

Primary Responsibilities:

• Performing daily safety, mechanical, electrical, and quality assurance checks on the multiple concession Go Karts of the attraction to the highest standards of safety and according to the local and international standards.
• Performing daily safety checks of the track and conducting repairs to safety critical equipment / infrastructure as required to maintain track serviceability.
• Troubleshooting on-the-spot problems and repair requirements as per the manufacturer’s recommendations.
• Assisting with overall attraction maintenance, rebuilds, or enhancement works as required.
• Inspecting and performing minor repairs of all attraction equipment, safety gear, and track elements.
• Have excellent communication skills, able to work unassisted, and have excellent problem-solving abilities to meet customer needs.
• Full training will be given in all areas of the role.
• Assisting the Operations Manager / Ride Manager with the attraction operations.

Desired Qualifications:

• Applicants must be mechanically inclined with the proven ability to troubleshoot mechanical problems and have experience utilising basic hand tools and special repair equipment in the workplace.
• Previous experience with mechanics such as hydraulic disc brakes, precision measuring tools, and electrical equipment components will be an advantage.
• Previous mechanical or repair experience with DC electronics, Go Karts, or similar equipment (buggy, go-karts, car repairs, powered bikes, off-road vehicles, etc.) is a definite asset for the role.
• The ability to work independently as well as take direction from the Operations Manager / Ride Manager.
• Problem-solving skills, with great attention to safety procedures and protocols.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills and the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Must be able to work with a variety of environmental factors, including heat, noise, and flashing lights, and must be able to lift up to 30 kgs.

Terms of Employment:

Senior Machinery Technician

• Able to work under stress situation

Job Description:

Environment, Health and Safety (EHS)

• Comply to Veolia Life Saving Rules while performing work inside company premises.

Operational

• Responsible for operating both Hot and Cold DCS consoles which include process monitoring and parameter adjustment in order to achieve production targets without any safety issues or noncompliance.
• Study processing schedules, engineering recommendations, lab analysis results to determine sound changes in process unit control.
• Record and compile DCS operating data for monitoring purposes and take necessary actions if any deviation or abnormalities are observed.
• At a time, go to the site to do site monitoring and observe flame patterns at the incineration unit in order to optimize the production process.
• Coordinate start-up, shut-down and normal operations/maintenance activities with Operation Supervisor and Operation Technician.
• Perform basic calculations for determining process parameters and material balances.
• Responsible for alarm management of the DCS and ESD systems and provide valuable input to manage the process units.
• Highlight to Supervisor on duty in the event of any abnormality which can affect plant production and safety.
• Perform troubleshooting at DCS/field level, resolve operational issues at DCS/field and provide support for the engineering, operation and maintenance team.
• As identified, to ensure and comply with technical competency requirements such as Boiler Attendance or Steam Engineer.
• Provide support for the engineering team on new project initiatives and implementation.
• Participate and proactively contribute in any type of root cause analysis i.e WIR.

Job Requirements:

• Minimum GCE ‘N’ Level certification with minimally of 8 years of relevant work experience

• Certification in Manage Work at Height and Assess Confined Space for Safe Entry and Work is a plus point.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Provide routine, preventive and corrective maintenance, troubleshooting and overhaul on process equipment such as piping, pressure vessel, pump, compressor, etc.

• Diploma or NITEC in a relevant Engineering discipline
• At least 3 years' relevant experience in an oil refinery/petrochemical plant
• Candidates without relevant experience may be considered for entry-level positions.

Responsibilities:

• Execute tasks / activities, standard maintenance and repair work such as Preventive, Corrective maintenance project executions at site effectively & efficiently
• Ensure all site executions are performed in accordance with all maintenance work procedures / OEM manuals / Vopak standards to ensure site quality, asset integrity and operability
• Ensure all site executions are performed in accordance with all Local Statutory and Vopak Safety processes to achieve good safety records / results
• Report any problems or issues with site facilities
• Process Permit-to-Work, Job safety Analysis (JSA), Lock-out, Tag-out (LOTO) or execute the Defeat of Safety Critical Equipment (DOSCE) during associate maintenance activities
• Participate and contribute in maintenance documentation review such as Safe Work Procedures (SWP), Job safety Analysis (JSA) and What-If Analysis
• Maintain work progress status and report to Supervisors on daily or adhoc basis
• Perform Work Executor in the Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS) workflow to receive, update and close up assigned Work Orders and checklist
• Support Maintenance Supervisor in ensuring that contractors or third party vendors execute maintenance tasks / activities at site effectively and efficiently
• Ensure that contractors carry out tasks/activities that adhered to safety, health and environment regulations and Vopak standards
• Mentor, guide technicians, junior technician in maintenance activities and job competency
• Help out in the supervision of Capex project execution
• Perform equipment or system testing / commissioning / Inspections / Pre-Startup Safety Review (PSSR) to properly handover to the Operations team after maintenance / project completion
• Standby as duty technician for emergency activation to perform corrective maintenance after working hours
• Suggest and execute ideas for continuous improvement in maintenance procedures and processes to improve or optimize maintenance costs, work processes and safety standards
• Assist to lead equipment training to the Operations dept or new trainees
• Practice good housekeeping
• Assist to maintain spare parts inventory levels, support on delivery checks by suppliers and maintain good preservation/housekeeping in the stores
• Only for Maintenance Senior Technicians - to mentor and guide technicians/junior technicians

The Remanufacturing Process Technology (RPT) Group in ARTC is looking for a responsible and motivated laboratory officer to join the group. The lab officer?s responsibilities include sample preparation, characterization, measurement, and mechanical testing. The lab officer also supports group?s research activities through procurement, design of experiments, equipment scheduling, risks identification and assessment to ensure efficient and safe operation of our labs. There will be opportunities to acquire advanced CAD/CAM skills and equipment operations through involvement in industry and competitively funded projects related to remanufacturing process technologies. The roles and responsibilities include the following areas:

-Perform material testing, sample preparation, dimensional measurements, surface quality inspection, microstructure & defects analysis.

-Tracking and managing lab resource utilization, procurement, and delivery.

-Storage space management and optimization.

-Ensure high operational readiness by troubleshooting breakdowns, maintaining supplies, performing preventive maintenance, and liaising for repairs.

-Planning equipment maintenance and facilitating mechanical and electrical installations for new equipment.

-Assist in scheduling equipment utilization and procurement for project consumables.

-Assist in lab equipment operation, collection of process data and analysis of results.

-Secondary roles related to health, safety, environment, and procurement to manage the Risk Assessment (RA), Standard Working Procedures (SWP), Permit to Work (PTW), and chemical purchasing and storage.

-Identify and recommend improvement measurements to ensuring high quality in lab safety and 5S standards.

Detailed Job requirements:

• Polytechnic/ Technical Diploma in Engineering
• 1-2 years of experience working in a lab is preferred.
• Experience with engineering CAD/CAM software such as NX UniGraphics, SolidWorks, AutoCAD will be advantageous.
• Strong attention to detail.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Proficient in MS office.
