REQUIREMENTS:

Minimum 2 years of relevant experiences with any of the Equipment/ Machine* stated below.

• Aerial Work Platform (AWP)
• Cargo Handling Equipment
• Construction Equipment - excavator, loader, truck, etc
• Cranes - mobile, tower, quay, etc
• Earthmoving Equipment - dozer, grader, etc
• Ground Support Equipment (GSE)
• Material Handling Equipment (MHE) - forklift, VNA, reach truck, etc
• Mobile Elevating Work Platforms (MEWP)
• Road Construction Equipment - compactor, cold milling, paver, etc

PACKAGE:

• Basic range from $2800 – $3600, before OT.
• Guaranteed Annual Bonus of minimum 1 month.

Job Responsibilities:

• To conduct final sample preparation in final sampling room
• To conduct laboratory analysis and reporting
• To assist chemist in technical development project
• To maintain the inventory of all laboratory facilities/ equipment
• To check, record and report on the inventory of all laboratory supplies
• To carry out calibration and maintenance of all laboratory equipment as per schedule or instructed
• To ensure good housekeeping in the laboratory
• To follow the existing system and documentation as per the procedures
• To update the relevant records

Requirements:

• At least ITE or Diploma in Chemistry/Chemical Process Technology/Material Science or equivalent
• Working experience in precious metal/ base metal is an added advantage

Job Description :

· The Junior Medical Technologist will perform routine histological tests in the Department of Pathology for use in the treatment and diagnosis of diseases. The responsibilities include:

· Perform reception of laboratory specimens, assign charge codes and rejection of those that are unacceptable according to rejection criteria.

· Assist pathologist during trimming and evaluation of specimens.

· Able to gross simple and uncomplicated specimens according to guidelines.

· Perform various technical functions including processing, embedding, microtomy, routine and complex staining, mounting and labeling of prepared slides and block check.

· Perform frozen cryo- sectioning.

· Ensure proper maintenance of equipment, notify the appropriate personnel if equipment malfunction.

· Prepare and maintains all necessary reagents and stains according to proper specifications.

· Promptly carry out instruction(s) of senior staff with regard to work procedures and duties.

· Comply with good laboratory practice on all procedures in accordance with the laboratory protocols and SOPs.

· Comply with all requirements of the Laboratory Safety Manual.

Job Requirements:

· Min Diploma or Degree in Biomedical Science / Biotechnology or equivalent

· Meticulous, have initiative and able to function effectively as a member of a team

· Possess good communication and interpersonal skills

· Capable of multitasking and effective time management

· Able to function effectively as member of a team

· Demonstrate proficiency in applicable computer system and software
