Key Accountabilities

• Selection of the most appropriate technique for filling gas.
• Loading/offloading of trucks/containers as requested.
• Painting of cylinders to appropriate standards.
• Connection/disconnection and running of the cylinder drying ovens.
• QC check of final goods prior to despatch.

Job Requirements

• Min. NITEC in Chemistry or Chemical Engineering.
• Results oriented individual who is conscientious about quality & safety.
• Mechanical knowledge in plant equipment, pure and specialty gas will be a plus.

Responsibilities:

• Oversee the smooth running of day-to-day lab operations
• Cost management: budgetary/capacity planning
• Prepare and lead Laboratory team for all quality and regulatory audits
• Work closely with Medical Director, Lab Director, Country Director and Quality Manager for any laboratory-related issues that require medical/operational oversight
• Ensure timely completion of all laboratory related work scope
• Responsible for the timely completion of training, competency testing and ensure adherence to documented procedures and protocols of all Laboratory staff
• Ensure laboratory equipment proficiency testing, maintenance and controls are timely performed as scheduled
• Development of operational efficiencies and improvements in processes
• Vendor/ supplier qualification and procurement of critical material and services
• Laboratory inventory control and monitoring
• Perform design control and validation studies in process change developments
• Monitor process deviations and ensure timely implementation of corrective and preventive actions.
• Set and monitor departmental quality and customer centric objectives
• To perform processing of cord blood units/ tissue from time to time, whenever necessary
• Client interfacing for special cases, from time to time

Requirements:

• Min. Bachelor in Science
• Min 3 years in Laboratory management/ supervisory experience
• Has prior quality assurance (AABB/FACT Netcord) and regulatory compliance (FDA, MOH, Good Distribution Practice for Medical Device) experience preferred
• Experience in regulatory and accreditation audits will be a strong advantage
• Experience in processing umbilical cord blood/ biological banking experience preferred

What Will You Do

• To troubleshoot and propose solutions encounter when servicing client’s air-con.
• Preparation of service report for client’s endorsement upon completion of service or repair work.
• Any other tasks or duties assigned by the management.

What Do We Want

• At least 3 years of relevant experience in the Air-con or Cold Room field.
• Possess a valid Singapore Class 3 driving license.
• Familiar with Singapore road and regulations
• Good interpersonal and communication skill.
