Job Description

• Follow detailed work instructions, including schematics, wiring diagrams, and component lists, to assemble, repair, and test electrical and electro-mechanical systems, including vacuum and pneumatic assemblies.
• Conduct electro-mechanical assembly and troubleshooting, identifying and correcting any malfunctions to ensure operational efficiency.
• Maintain strict adherence to safety standards, ensuring a safe and clean working environment at all times. - Participate in mandatory health and safety training and follow company policies to prevent workplace injuries and accidents.
• Operate testing equipment such as leak detectors, electronic measurement tools, and vacuum pumps to evaluate the performance of assemblies and components.
• Document work progress, including labor costs and other relevant details, in the company’s system to ensure accurate tracking and reporting.
• Support system installations and software updates, including basic computer programming or repair tasks when necessary.
• Conduct final inspections of completed assemblies, performing audits to confirm all required parts are available and free from defects before initiating testing or repair processes.
• Actively participate in process improvement by troubleshooting issues and recommending solutions to enhance production efficiency.

Responsibilities:

• Responsible for both repair/maintenance services in the mechanical and electrical functions
• Assess/Procure components that aligns with the company's product manufacturing needs while considering cost-effectiveness
• Supervise the installation, adjustments, and upkeep of the company’s manufacturing machinery

• Able to work 3-rotating-shift work patterns, including staggered and extended working hours, and coverage after hours and on weekends and public holidays to meet the needs of the department and hospital
