Job Description

• Working Location: Ubi (Nearest MRT: Tai Seng) – Company transportation provided to travel to client location
• Working Hours: Monday to Friday, 9.00 am – 6.00 pm
• Salary Package: Up to $3000 + OT (Dependent on project) + Performance Bonus
• Duration: Permanent

Key Responsibilities

Field Service Engineer

• Work as part of a team to install, test, and commission company equipment, ensuring all systems are fully operational and meet client expectations.
• Assist with the setup and configuration of network-based systems, ensuring connectivity and functionality.
• Set up and configure security surveillance systems and access control systems, ensuring proper functionality and client satisfaction.
• Install and maintain radio communication equipment, ensuring uninterrupted communication services.
• Regularly service and maintain installed equipment to ensure optimal performance, including troubleshooting and repairs when necessary.
• Assist in project planning, coordination, and execution, ensuring timely completion of assignments.
• Participate in on-the-job training under senior engineers, developing your technical skills and expanding your field of expertise.

Field Service Technician

• Perform accurate installation and laying of electrical cables to ensure proper connectivity, adhering to industry standards and safety protocols.
• Assist in the testing and commissioning of electrical systems, ensuring that all equipment is safely operational and meets performance standards.
• Conduct routine general maintenance on installed electrical systems and equipment to maintain optimal functionality and reduce downtime.
• Diagnose and fix electrical faults and malfunctions, ensuring that issues are resolved promptly to minimize disruptions.
• Follow all safety regulations and protocols to ensure a safe working environment, including the proper use of personal protective equipment (PPE).
• Work closely with other technicians and engineers to complete tasks efficiently and effectively, ensuring all project goals are met on time.
• Training & Development: Participate in ongoing training programs to stay updated on the latest industry trends, electrical techniques, and safety standards.

• Min. NITEC in Electronic or Electrical
• 1 year’s experience working with security surveillance systems, access control, or radio communication equipment preferred
• Training provided for those without experience
• Class 3 driver’s license preferred

Our client is from Oil and Gas industry, a local leading player. They are looking for a Maintenance Technician for the next phase of their business. They are located in West.

Duties:

• Perform preventive, predictive, and corrective maintenance tasks as directed, and update the CMMS database.
• Maintain rotating and static equipment, plant piping, and structural support systems.
• Respond to and resolve equipment malfunctions, ensuring minimal downtime.
• Determine necessary materials, tools, and methods for safe maintenance tasks.
• Conduct machinery condition monitoring and field data collection with the production team.
• Ensure operational efficiency of all plant valves and mechanical components, including control and plant valve maintenance.
• Supervise in-house contractors and vendors, ensuring safety protocols are followed.
• Collaborate with the production team on mechanical system testing and troubleshooting.
• Take on additional tasks or responsibilities as assigned.
• Perform valve line-up and LOTO for maintenance preparations.
• Participate in the Company's Emergency Response Team (CERT) with assigned roles.

Requirements

• Nitec in Engineering related field.
• Min 5 years’ experience in Oil & Gas or Petrochemical industry
• Experience in troubleshooting of mechanical/ machinery systems

Job scope:

• Perform daily shipment and non-routine analysis of in-process and finished products in accordance to Standard Operating Procedure (SOP) and safe work procedures

• Perform basic calibration for laboratory equipment to ensure that they are maintained in good working condition

• Carry out documentation control for test results and ensure proper documentation of laboratory work and quality control records in accordance to the SOP

• Prepare density columns for grade transition for in-process and classification testing

• Ensure that good housekeeping is maintained in the Laboratory

• Provide support for Laboratory-related assignments as and when assigned by immediate superior
