Our client is a Manufacturing MNC. Due to business needs, they are now recruiting a Laboratory Technician to be part of their Labortory Team for ongoing transformation projects. They are located in the West - easily accessible.

Duties of Laboratory Technician:

• Assist in routine lab tasks such as paint preparation, panel setup, and airless spray applications.
• Conduct sampling, testing, and analysis for paint products.
• Support chemists in development projects, including managing stock levels for panels, raw materials, and lab supplies.
• Participate in trial applications and inspections outside the lab under supervision.
• Handle non-chemical waste disposal and maintain a safe work environment by following ISO, safety, and environmental standards.
• Communicate progress or delays effectively with the line manager.
• Ensure workplace safety, especially in handling chemicals, and follow preventive measures to reduce risks.

Requirements:

• Diploma in related field
• Entry level are welcome to apply. Training provided.

Job duties:

• Involved in the pre commissioning and commissioning of the plant such as punch list, pressure test and FAT.
• Ensuring plant operations as per guidelines and procedures.
• Lead and coordinates less experience technicians in plant operations
• Perform daily routine checks for abnormalities and data collections
• Perform minor laboratory test
• Involved as ERT in fire drills and emergencies
• Require at least ITE in Chemical Process Technology or above
• No experience required as training would be provided
• Willing to do shift work

Gross Salary can reach more than $4000 per month (Basic + Shift Allowance + Transport Allowance + OT)
