Host Pathogen Interactions Lab in A*STAR Infectious Diseases Labs (A*STAR IDL) is actively seeking a Scientist to join our mission of becoming a leading center for infectious diseases research. Job Description:

We are seeking a talented researcher to lead the research on a 3 year funded research project as well as develop novel ideas in the broad scope of host-pathogen interactions and infectious diseases. Preliminary data gathered will help develop the researcher’s career and path to independence through the various early-career support available internally in A*STAR as well as in the Singapore ecosystem.

The funded project will aim to characterize and compare host-alphavirus interactions at the immune response level in vivo in animal models through a novel viral-centric approach. Preliminary data of the lab has shown a differential adaptive immune response polarization between two alphaviruses and identified, via in vivo comparative multiOmic approaches, a set of candidate host factors potentially responsible for the phenotype. The project will entail a close characterization of these host factors and their role in the viral life cycle as well as the modulation of the immune response of small animal model to these viruses. In addition to multi-Omics approaches (including single-cell and spatial), protein-protein interactions, microscopy, functional genomics, viral reverse genetics and CRISPR Cas9 gene editing will be some of the tools used to investigate this viral hijacking and understand the host-viral interplay. Animals models available in the lab include mice and zebrafish. Downstream of characterization will aim to validate these targets in small preclinical models for subsequent drug discovery in the A*STAR ecosystem. Job Description:

• To perform master data collection, testing and verification for Labware/Moda (with QC Analytical LIMS user experience)
• To perform validation and development of the lifecycle documents and SOPs for Labware/Moda
• Build, modify, configure, customize system
• Create development plans, implementation plans and operating procedures for every test that is set up
• Quality Check processes of LIMS/MODA by performing comprehensive user testing
• Acts as liaison between internal laboratory users and project team to address various system issues
• Implement, integrate, maintain laboratory instrument interfaces with LIMS/MODA
• Evaluates product enhancements and capabilities, in addition to implementing upgrades as required
• Collaborate with other departments for integration of Laboratory Information System with inhouse software

Requirement

• Min Degree in Science/ Chemical Engineer or other equivalent
• Experience in GMP
• Experience in QC equipment qualification such as writing protocol

About the Job

We are looking for a Pharmacy Technician to join us in our procurement team to support our GPs and clinic staff on the frontlines.

This is a full-time onsite role. If you’re a dynamic individual with a can-do attitude and a service-oriented mindset, we want you!

You will be responsible for day-to-day procurement support for the pharmaceutical and non-pharmaceutical needs of Bridgepoint Health.

The Role

• Perform inbound stock receipt, checking and repacking
• Process orders in accordance to set standards
• Perform quality checks on orders and pack for delivery
• Manage inventory, including performing ordering, stock replenishment, cycle counts and stock take
• Perform data entry and billing procedures for goods and services provided
• Coordinate deliveries to clinics
• Support maritime clinic services (e.g. quotation, medication delivery) based on the vessel schedules
• Ad hoc duties (including cross-functional support, quality improvement initiatives, etc.)

The Person

• Diploma in Pharmaceutical Science or Certificate in Pharmacy Technician course
• Minimum 2 year working experience in healthcare industry, preferably a pharmacy setting
• Experience in medication delivery processes, pharmacy automation setup or outpatient pharmacy operations will be advantageous
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office software (Excel, Word) is required
• Team player with excellent analytical and organizational skills

Responsibilities:

• Install company water purifiers on-site, including set up of parts, troubleshooting, and quality checks.
• Perform routine maintenance, such as inspecting parts, checking, and replacing filters.

Skills Required:

Responsibilities: -

• Process and dispense medicines (under supervision) to patients in inpatient and outpatient settings.
• Manage daily ward request orders for inpatient supplies.
• Assists Pharmacist in the areas of procurement, receipt and processing of drugs in the pharmacy to meet the internal and external customer requirements.
• Track and maintain records of inventory including drug usage, expiring drugs and stock counts.
• Complies with Corporate Quality and Regulatory standards and hospital’s SOPs.
• Assists the Pharmacist in day-to-day operation as directed.
• Performs any other duties as and when requested by Pharmacist and / or Pharmacy Manager.

Qualifications and Experiences: -

• Diploma in Pharmaceutical Science or equivalent OR possessed a valid certificate for Pharmacy Technician course.
• Relevant experience in inpatient setting or have experience in inventory management would be an added advantage.
• Work Days: Mondays to Fridays and Alternate Saturdays or Sundays,based on roster
• Work Hours: 0830 hrs to 1730 hrs or 0900 hrs to 1800 hrs, based on roster
• Good interpersonal and communication skills.
