• Raise maintenance notifications via SAP whenever an equipment fault is observed.
• Knowledge of Permit-to-Work (PTW) system and Lock-Out-Tag-Out (LOTO) system.
• Fills up log sheets, shift reports, and daily reports accurately.
• Carry out plant mechanical routine duties diligently. This also includes housekeeping within the plant premises.
• Carry out plant sampling and measurement duties in a timely and accurate manner.
• Highlight to the Operation Engineer when there is low inventory of chemicals and logistics.
• Successful candidate will be appointed as part of the Company Emergency Response Team (CERT) and First Aider (trainings will be provided).

Major Challenges

• Process related problems that span across different unit operations, which ultimately affects discharge quality.
• Knowledge of various equipment and instruments and its functionality which would require prompt attention during urgent events.

Key Decisions & Dimensions

• Maintain wastewater within specified range of flow rate, temperature, kg-TOC loading, and kg-COD loading.
• Maintain water product within specified range of flow, temperatures, pH, TSS and conductivity/ TDS.
• Checking equipment delivering pressure, temperatures, etc.
• Approval of general work permits for PM and CM jobs.

Qualifications & Experience

• ITE / Diploma with knowledge of Water / Wastewater treatment will be an advantage.
• Experience in plant operations relating to Water / Wastewater treatment.
• Driving license as required to commute between plant in Jurong Island.

• Conduct investigations and report any abnormalities in laboratory measurements.

Requirements:

• Minimum bachelor’s degree in chemical Process or equivalent.
• At least 2 years of working experience in semiconductor or manufacturing.
• Thorough knowledge of analytical methods, preferably in trace metals analysis.

The Maintenance Technician will carry out all planned and unplanned maintenance activities across mechanical & electrical equipment to ensure minimal disruption to the manufacturing process.

Job Responsibilities:

• Execute responsive, preventative and predictive maintenance requirements to all machines/equipment in the Well screen Technologies facility to ensure maximum production levels.
• To perform day to day activities in accordance with the planned maintenance program.
