Responsibilities :

• Set-up and troubleshoot machinery on the production line
• Ensure production machines are capable of producing parts to specification
• Perform Statistical Process Control (SPC) Techniques
• Participate in the continuous improvement of machines and processes

Requirements :

• Nitec or Diploma in Electronic and/or Electrical Engineering or equivalent
• At least 2 years of working experience in electronic manufacturing environment will be advantageous
• Basic MS office skills and computer skills
• Possess positive mind set and willingness to learn

Responsibilities:

• Maintain tunnel washer, washer extractor and dryers, and keep the equipment in operational condition.
• Troubleshooting and repairing inoperative machines.
• Provide support and assistance by responding appropriately to repair situations, assessing the problem, and taking the appropriate action.
• Perform preventative maintenance and cleaning of machine duct work and related equipment.
• Maintain an inventory of tools and supplies necessary for the completion of repairs and keeps tools in good repair.

· Cleaning spills, broken glass and other messes up as quickly as possible

· Carry out heavy cleaning tasks and special projects when required.

· Execute, and manages the general cleaning process, monitoring cleaning logistics and supervising other cleaners

· Require hands-on with cleaners

· Perform and meet the cleanliness and hygiene standard in assigned areas and cover manpower whenever required (eg. staff on leave/MC/absent).

· Experience in cleaning will be an advantage.

About You:

• At least 3-4 years relevant experience in a laboratory environment in the pharmaceutical industry (quality assurance, production), QC Raw material or Analytical testing experience, aseptic technique.

Job Scope:

• Conduct application test of oil samples and make application samples for evaluation and submission to customers within a specific time frame.

• In charge of monitoring projects and ensure projects sun smoothly with the specified time frame

• Monitor the application test and ensure its stability.

• Observe the durability of the samples and report on abnormality.

• Assist in formulating new bases, policies and procedures.

• Preparation of application and samples for sensory testing by Perfumer, CFG’s.

• Maintain and track stock level of laboratory equipment and supplies such as glass bottles, raw materials, etc., for base formulation.

• Operate, maintain, calibrate and sterilize laboratory equipment and work areas.

• Systematic filing and maintenance of formulation and records.

• Regularly check and ensure raw materials are stored at correct temperature to ensure quality and safety.

• Ensure that bio-hazardous materials are disposed safely.

• Perform standard laboratory tests in according to prescribed procedures and recording of test results.

• Maintain and ensure a clean and safe laboratory environment and workplace.

Job Requirements:

• Min. Degree in food science/ any relevant field

• Min. 2-3 years relevant experience in fragrance/ flavour application roles preferred
