· Provide any additional duties as required by the OIM/Unit Spt. and /or HOD to maintain safe and efficient running of the Unit.

Qualifications and Experience

· Proven experience and qualified to ONC/ HNC, or NVQ Level 3 or recognised equivalent in Electrical Maintenance Engineering

· Minimum 5 yrs experience preferred, with 2 years offshore petrochemical experience desired

· Good knowledge of PTW, Electrical Isolation Standards, Risk Assessment and Man Management, Power Management System, Generation on LV

· COMP ex E'x' Course.

· Preferred courses: HV/LV Protection and HVLV Switching.

· Medically fit to offshore International standards such as ENG1 or equivalent.

• Personal: Exemplary awareness of safety issues. Conscientious, flexible, versatile and determined.
• Leadership: Able to assist with operation of Electrical Power Generation and distribution systems. Good levels of written and spoken communication. Positive and assertive.
• Technical: High standard of analytical, diagnostic technical and professional knowledge on electrical systems, components and procedures.
• IT: Use Standard Management System ‘Office’ package electronic mail system and diagnostic software and equipment as required.

Responsibilities:

• Able to set-up, operate and maintain Shot Peen/ Media Finish / Balancing machines
• Able to perform simple troubleshooting of machines
• Possesses Conventional machining, peening, inspection skills and knowledge
• Read and follow established procedures and work instruction
• Responsible for performing an assessment of risk of his/ her activities, taking corrective and preventive actions
• Require to maintain day to day 6s activities.
• Willing to work cross-functional areas.
• Compliance with Company Code of Ethics and Export regulation
• Support and participate in EH&S, Quality & CORE activities
• Involve in continuous improvement and cost saving initiatives
• Additional tasking as required by the supervisor

Requirements:

• Minimum NITEC in Precision/ Aerospace/ Mechanical Engineering
• 2 years of relevant working experience in Shot Peening/ Media Finish/ Balancing preferably in aviation industry
• Able to work weekly rotating shifts / permanent 2nd and permanent 3rd shift
