Job Requirement

• Grow, maintain and transplant flowers, shrubs and trees
• Maintenance and installation of sprinkler systems
• Construct walkways, walls and small foot bridges
• Follows plans and specifications, inspects and directs the planting of landscape material associated with improvement, beautification, and erosion control
• Create and adhere to various watering and feeding schedules
• Plan new growth planting patterns in distinct seasonal changes
• Identify detrimental insects or plant disease and eliminate them
• Ability to adhere to a predetermined budget
• Operate a variety of mechanical equipment
• If certified or under the supervision of a certified applicator will apply chemicals

Requirement

• Primary/Secondary/’O’ Level Education with relevant landscape gardening experience.
• With WSQ Landscape Operation (Entry Level) Certification will be an advantage.
• No age limit with ability to work outdoors.
• Physically fit to handle tools and move around easily during work.

Working Hours and Office Location:

· 5.5-day work week

· Office location: Mandai Estate

· Work location: Various Sites

Your tasks:

• Operate the terminal system (including jetties) according to the company's work procedures by efficiently carrying out the Daily Action Plan, updating the daily checklists and shift logs in order to keep track of the most recent procedures and track activities.
• Ensure compliance with all HSSEQ rules and regulations, including wearing the appropriate PPE, and assume suitable role(s) stipulated in the terminal's Emergency Response Plan (ERP), in order to guarantee safety of the terminal, the employees and the individual.
• Properly perform checks on the terminal systems (moving and non-moving), undertake routine checks and house-keeping on a regular basis and supervise mooring crew activities, in order to guarantee safe procedures and prevent failures to the terminal system.
• Learn how to and, if certified competently, independently perform: WDO, sampling, tank gauging, valve and pump checks, pump strainer cleaning and operating waste water system
• Conduct ship-shore conferences and berthing/unberthing vessels in accordance with company's work procedure.
• Report all unusual incidents in the terminal and raise maintenance request form for equipments failure, in order to keep the terminal running without errors.
• Complete all task evaluations under the Operations, Training, HSSEQ, HR Department and OCIMF for a Trainee Technician.

Your profile:

• Preferably a Diploma in Engineering/ Maritime
• Ideally have at least 1 - 2 years of Terminal experience. No experience are welcomed to apply.
• Possess good attitude towards work and a willingness to learn
• Has an affinity towards safety
• Good interpersonal skills and has the ability to resolve issues as a team
