Our client is a leading player in Manufacturing industry. Due to business needs, they are now recruiting a Quantity Surveyor to be part of their Engineering Team for ongoing transformation projects. They are located in the North - easily accessible.

Duties of Quantity Surveyor :

• Cost Evaluation: Conduct technical evaluations, prepare Bills of Quantity (BOQ), and perform cost analysis for projects.
• Supplier & Subcontractor Management: Obtain and compare quotations from suppliers and subcontractors according to project requirements.
• Drawing Review: Review architectural and electrical drawings; prepare and revise designs using AutoCAD and Revit.
• Electrical Load Calculation: Calculate maximum electrical demand, including lighting, power consumption, and energy requirements.
• Design & Drafting: Design and draft electrical service layouts such as lighting, power, cableways, and create related diagrams.
• As-Built Drawings: Prepare and update As-Built drawings for completed projects.
• Site Coordination: Coordinate site visits with subcontractors and the operations team.
• Quality Control: Ensure quality control of electrical installations according to design drawings on-site.

Requirements:

• Diploma or Degree in Electrical Engineering
• Relevant experience

Job Title: Senior Quantity Surveyor (ID8345)
Location: Ubi, Singapore
Working Hour：Monday to Friday 9am - 6pm, Saturday 9am - 1pm
Salary: $4000 - $4500

Job Description:
-Expertise in tender platforms and submission processes, ensuring tenders are accurately quoted and submitted based on company strengths and tender requirements.
-Attend tender site briefings, preparing quotations that align with project specifications and client expectations.
-Design solutions according to client expectations and ensure they are reflected in tender submissions.
-Organize and present post-tender clarification meetings, preparing responses and managing client queries.
-Submit required tender documents, including organizational charts and project track records.
-Conduct online presentations using PowerPoint and other relevant tools, and manage virtual meetings effectively.
-Develop and manage project master programs and independently prepare and submit all required client documentation for awarded projects.
-Pre- and post-tender, ensure full compliance with all authority requirements, including NEA, PUB, LTA, MOM, SP, and N-Parks.
-Understand project requirements and prepare 3D detailed drawings and space planning using AutoCAD.
-Complete assigned work within deadlines, maintaining high standards of quality.
-Attend meetings with consultants, main contractors, and site stakeholders to ensure project alignment.
-Work independently, showing strong organizational and time management skills.

Requirement:
-More than 4 years of relevant work experience required for this role

• Responsible for taking off quantities, sourcing sub-contractors & suppliers, pricing and preparation of tender submission.
• Carry out site measurement and evaluate price comparison and costing summary.
• Project administration and documentation including preparation of interim valuations, pricing and agreement of contract variations, update claim submissions, preparation of final accounts.

Requirements:

• Diploma in Quantity Surveying or equivalent.
• At least 4 years working as a Quantity Surveyor in building construction industry.
• Strong knowledge of building condition of contract.
