As part of the Advanced Manufacturing and Repair Technology organization, the Lead Repair Engineer (HGP: Hot Gas Path) will be responsible for engineering ownership of advanced HGP components at the GE Repair Solutions Singapore (GRSS) Service Center. In this role you will coordinate with the various Power Services teams, to create standardized component repairs and processes for contractual services productivity, as well as transactional services fulfilment and growth.

Qualifications / Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical or Materials Engineering/Science, or related engineering field of study from an accredited college or university
• Minimum of 3 years of experience working in, with, and/or supporting a manufacturing, Services, repair, or design environment
• Travel to repair centers, customer sites, and other locations as needed globally (~10%)

The main objective of this role is to support GustoMSC's customers in keeping the company's offshore equipment, such as heavy lift cranes, electrical and hydraulic jacking systems, skidding systems, and fixation systems, fit for purpose and safe to operate. As a Service and Commissioning Engineer, you will represent GustoMSC while performing inspections, installations, commissioning, repairs, upgrades, and troubleshooting on this equipment worldwide.

Duties & Responsibilities

• Ÿ Perform inspections, installation, FATs, commissioning, repair, upgrading, troubleshooting, and related service work on GustoMSC’s GLC-2000-ED-SB cranes, NG-9000C jacking systems, and other similar GustoMSC offshore equipment at a software, electrical, hydraulic, and mechanical level.
• Ÿ Supervise maintenance on the assigned GustoMSC equipment such as the GLC-2000-ED-SB cranes and NG-9000C jacking systems.
• Ÿ Provide client support during rig moves and jacking trials involving GustoMSC equipment.
• Ÿ Advise customers on the use, spare parts, maintenance, and potential updates/upgrades for GustoMSC's crane, jacking, and other offshore systems.
• Ÿ Prepare work method statements and accurate, thorough reports related to servicing and maintaining GustoMSC equipment.
• Ÿ Provide technical customer support from the office on GustoMSC's crane, jacking, and other offshore product lines.
• Ÿ Be available for 24-hour callouts when issues arise with GustoMSC equipment.
• Ÿ Carry out work on GustoMSC systems to the highest quality standards.

Skills & Experience required.

• Ÿ Vocational Diploma or Certificate or Associate Degree in mechanical, hydraulic, mechatronics, or electrical engineering and/or Bachelor's Degree or University of Applied Sciences Degree in mechanical, hydraulic, mechatronics, or electrical engineering, with a focus on heavy industry or offshore equipment.
• Ÿ Approximately 5-15 years of relevant work experience in maintaining and servicing GustoMSC's GLC-2000-ED-SB cranes, NG-9000C jacking systems, and other similar offshore equipment, including experience in leading a multi-disciplinary commissioning team.
• Ÿ In-depth knowledge of the technical specifications, operation, and maintenance requirements of GustoMSC's crane, jacking, and other offshore product lines.
• Ÿ Ability to troubleshoot, repair, and upgrade GustoMSC equipment at a software, electrical, hydraulic, and mechanical level.
• Ÿ Experience in leading a multi-disciplinary commissioning team.

We seek a seasoned Lead, Automation Design to contribute to the growth and delivery of the Supply Chain Development & Analytics department. This strategic role requires a senior professional with robust leadership skills, a deep understanding of warehouse operations, and expertise in managing complex automation projects. The ideal candidate will demonstrate independent thinking, a fast-learning aptitude, and the ability to lead and grow within the organization. This role ensures the alignment of the supply chain with FPG's overall business objectives and its capability to meet customer demand.

Responsibilities

• Develop a comprehensive strategy for warehouse automation aligned with the Supply Chain goals, considering the unique requirements of ambient and cold storage facilities.
• Identify, evaluate, and select appropriate automation technologies (e.g., robotics, multi-shuttle, AGV, sortation etc.) that optimize operations and align with the allocated budget.
• Solution Design: Design and customize automation solutions tailored to specific warehouse needs, including layout design, system integration, and process reengineering. Collaborate with vendors and technology partners to ensure solutions meet functional requirements and performance standards.
• Project Leadership:
  • Lead and oversee the implementation of large-scale warehouse automation projects from inception to completion, ensuring seamless integration and minimal disruption to operations.
  • Manage project timelines and budgets meticulously, ensuring that all milestones are met within the established parameters. And Identify potential risks associated with automation implementation and develop comprehensive mitigation strategies to minimize disruptions and ensure business continuity.

• Work closely with various departments (operations, Tech, Finance, Industrial Engineer, Indirect Procurement) to gather requirements, and ensure alignment of automation solutions with overall business objectives. And ensure that all automation solutions comply with relevant industry standards, regulations, and safety protocols, maintaining a safe working environment for warehouse personnel and compliance with legal requirements.
• Establish metrics and KPIs to measure the performance of automated systems, continuously monitor operations, and implement improvements to enhance efficiency, accuracy, and cost-effectiveness. And develop training programs for warehouse staff to adapt to new automation systems and processes, facilitating a smooth transition and maximizing the benefits of automation.
• Stay updated on emerging technologies and trends in warehouse automation, fostering a culture of innovation and exploring opportunities for further enhancements. Lead pilot projects and proof-of-concept initiatives to test and validate new automation technologies.

• Master's Degree or Bachelor's Degree in Supply Chain, Logistics, Industrial Engineering, Computer Science.
• Experience: Minimum of 7 years of direct experience working with warehouse automation technologies, such as robotics, automated storage and retrieval systems (AS/RS), conveyor systems, WMS, and IoT devices. Hands-on involvement in the implementation, maintenance, or optimization of automation systems in warehouse settings is particularly beneficial.
• Project Management Expertise: Proven track record in managing large-scale warehouse automation projects, including end-to-end change management and organizational change. Strong project management skills with the ability to lead complex projects from inception to completion.
