• Plan, coordinate and develop work processes in compliance with all nursing standards as stipulated by Singapore Nursing Board and in accordance with the Licensing Terms and Conditions of the Nursing Homes and Enhanced Nursing Home Standards (ENHS).
• Ensure smooth collation and reporting of CQI.
• Ensure written policies, procedures and work processes as directed by the Nursing Office with reference the Nursing SOPs are available and up to date to guide the provision of care.
• Facilitate implementation of policies and procedures and care pathways in the NH.
• Ensure that all documentation in relation to all aspects of resident care management is accurate and up-to-date. (including investigation, analysis and reporting on incidents).
• Work with multi-disciplinary teams (AHP, MSW, Care Concierge) to develop individualised function-focused care plans for all residents.
• Address feedback or concerns raised by residents and family members in a timely manner.
• Provide nursing advice on the clinical care of complex cases referred by the staff in the nursing home and to monitor progress.
• Participate at the monthly Nurse Leaders' Meetings (NLM), RCD Quality Assurance Committee (QAC) and Product Evaluation Committee (PEC)

Staff Management

• Ensure appropriate skills mix and adequate manpower resourcing for all shifts and types of services.
• Oversee the team of RN, EN, NA, CCA & HA
• Create a work environment that is conducive to high performance and job satisfaction.
• Collaborate with the Operations team to manage the dormitory facilities, enforce rules, provide support and guidance for cross-cultural living amongst the care team, and manage relations among the staff.

Quality Education and Competencies / Staff Development

• Schedule staff for internal structured training.
• Schedule staff structured training (e.g. BCLS/AED) and in-service training by external partners (e.g. pharmacist, dietician, doctor).
• Keep records of training and submission to My HR.
• Ensure staff fulfil the required competencies assigned to be assessed by the NMs and that records are up-to-date.
• Promote evidence-based practices or nursing care delivery.
• Demonstrate awareness of current nursing and healthcare practices.
• Manage budget and resources optimally.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Nursing
• Advanced Diploma in Nursing is an advantage.
• Valid practising certificate issued by the SNB
• Valid BCLS certification
• Preferably with 2+ years experience in a similar position within a nursing home / geriatric ward

Job Description

RESPONSIBILITIES

This role will be responsible for our Product Application Lab for Semiconductor applications. Working closely with the Sales team and global technical resources, the selected candidate will support the development and growth of Semiconductor industry products in the region, focused on Southeast Asia. The initial focus will be on Strip, Etch, and Clean (SEC) solutions, but will also grow to include the Elevate® line of electroplating products. Specifically, the duties will include:

• Having a deep understanding of Technic products for the Semiconductor industry,
• Keeping abreast of industry developments and market position/performance of comparable competitive products.
• Working with Sales team to select appropriate customer and application targets
• Visiting customers across the territory to understand their equipment, process, and product performance requirements.
• Starting-up and operating the Technic Wafer Processing and Failure Analysis lab
• Conducting product functional performance testing & measurements either on-site or coordinating with other Regions to generate test results remotely.
• Advising on laboratory upgrades needed to better serve customers
• Liaising with customers during qualification tests and providing trouble-shooting advice after installation
• Recommending the best product for the application based on product experience and/or laboratory trials
• Hiring and supervising at least one technician to maintain the lab and support customer trials
• Developing specifications and facility recommendations for local manufacturing of SEC products, either at Technic or third-party facilities
• Advise on hiring and lead training of operators for local manufacturing
• Set operating procedures, quality targets and release specifications for any eventual locally made semiconductor products
• Developing external collaborations with co-suppliers, Universities, or Government Research Institutes to strengthen our offering, improve our market visibility, or secure funding to advance our product offerings.

Requirement

• The role may require regular travel to Malaysia, Vietnam, Philippines, and Thailand (1-2 times per month) & less frequent travel to France and the US (1-2 times per year)
• Qualifications: Graduate degree (Masters or PhD) in Chemistry or Chemical Engineering
• Experience: 10 Years of experience in Semiconductor Wafer Processing industries
