About the role

We are seeking a Temporary Executive (Field Practice) to join the National Institute of Early Childhood Development (NIEC) on a 4-month contract. In this role, you will manage administrative matters and support the Field Practicum module within the guidelines of NIEC Academic Governance. You will be based at NIEC-City Campus.

What you'll be doing

• Tracking of practicum periods, pre briefing, post briefing and learning journey dates
• Issue practicum placement letter to students
• Prepare student documents (i.e. student timeline, letter of consent, tutorial groupings)
• Translate admin briefs and emails into Mandarin for Chinese program students
• Respond to students' enquiries and resolve students issues
• Set and track students' assessment due dates
• Prepare and provide practicum documents i.e. student list, contact details, links for facilitators to access, timeline, marksheets and guides etc.
• Coordinate student matters, assessments marking and Student Field Practicum Centre Attachment fulfillment
• Import and export marksheets into Vitae for moderation
• Track moderation due dates and remind moderators
• Identify process gaps and communicate with relevant departments
• Monitor attendance marking in Student Management System
• Develop and improve admin processes for the Field Practicum Module i.e. online marking process, moderation etc.
• Develop and enhance tracking files to improve work efficiency.
• Monitor completion of Practicum Supervisors’ marking
• Provide payment tracking list to HQ Field Practice team
• Track and verify adjunct Practicum Facilitator payments to HR

What we're looking for

• Minimum a Diploma in any discipline
• At least 3 years of experience in planning, administration and coordination, preferably in the education sector
• Fluent in reading, writing and translating Mandarin for Chinese program students
• Able to meet tight deadlines and capable of managing tasks effectively in high-pressure situations

An Account Executive is an experienced, motivated sales team member who will be responsible for identifying, developing, and closing new subscription agreements with some of the largest and most reputable firms in the market, as well as, managing and growing existing client relationships. In this role, you will be responsible for strategic planning and account management across a designated sales territory or client group and will be required to take full ownership within your geographic jurisdiction and client type.

The role requires you to successfully retain and grow existing account revenue while driving sales agendas and meeting or exceeding monthly net sales quotas.

What you’ll be doing:

• Manage the sales process from beginning to end, securing introductions with decision makers while providing support to users, achieving, and surpassing your sales quota
• Develop a pipeline of new business opportunities within a defined sales territory; this includes new prospective customers and within an existing customer base
• Provide prospective new business clients with an understanding of Preqin’s products and offerings while developing new relationships with key stakeholders at each firm
• Manage all aspects of the renewal cycle for our client’s subscription relationships, with a focus on expansion opportunities within accounts and subscription renewals
• This includes proactive and consultative client support, ensuring high retention and net revenue growth
• Provide clients and prospects with detailed proposals, product demonstrations, and consultations (in person preferred, or via phone)
• You will work collaboratively within a team environment to prioritize the interests of our customers and the firm; including but not limited to product, marketing, and close engagement with the commercial team – customer services, customer success and sales development
• Provide actionable customer feedback to key stakeholders including, but not limited to, marketing, product development and research
• Occasional travel to client sites/events/conferences within territory, as required
• Accurately report internal administration: CRM activity log, sales pipeline forecasting, monthly reports to management, renewal planning and proposal preparation Build a strong working knowledge of competitive intelligence space and Preqin product positioning
• Develop Preqin product, technical, and alternative investment market knowledge including passing CAIA fundamentals within 30-days
• Present Preqin products and services to clients, peers, and key plans to management as it relates to performance and planning, including quarterly business planning
• Meet and exceed sales KPI metrics including emails, calls, meetings, and demonstrations

What you’ll bring to us:

• Three to eight years of transferrable sales experience in an account management and/or new business role (in a similar discipline preferred: financial services, alternative investments, B2B SaaS sales, solution selling)
• Excellent interpersonal, verbal, and written communication
• Proven track record in hitting quota and retention targets.
• Organized, detail-oriented with the ability to prioritize and respond quickly
• Negotiation skills as it relates to renewal upsells, cross-selling, and additional product add-ons
• Highly proficient in MS Office Suite and CRM systems
• Working knowledge of the financial market data space, alternative assets, and financial services industries
• Sales motivated, team-focused attitude, and willingness to collaborate with peers, product management, and internal key constituents at the firm
• Bachelor's degree in finance, business or related field required
