Candidate should be

- Responsible for Full Set accounting. (AP, AR & GL) (using Xero system).
- Corporate Tax computations.
- Handle and maintain a spectrum of accounting functions using XERO.
- Monthly Payroll, CPF submission, and staff claims.
- Follow-up customer outstanding.
- Cashflow management and to perform bank statement reconciliation.
- Perform accurate data entry to the account system.
- Ensure compliance with relevant accounting standards and regulations.
- Housekeeping and filing of finance documents.
- In charge of stock inventories and resolve if there any discrepancies.
- Perform month-end closing for the financial report within the timeline.

Key Responsibilities:

• Full Sets Accounts
• Accounts Payable & Receivable: Assist in managing accounts payable and receivable processes, including invoice processing, payment tracking, and vendor communication.
• Financial Record Keeping: Maintain accurate records of all financial transactions and update the general ledger.
• Bank Reconciliation: Perform monthly bank reconciliations to ensure all transactions are accounted for.
• Expense Management: Assist in tracking business expenses and ensuring that expenditures are properly categorized and documented.
• Payroll Assistance: Support payroll processing by ensuring accurate data entry for employee payments, deductions, and benefits.
• Reporting: Assist with the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements
• Tax Documentation: Support the preparation of tax filings and assist with tax compliance requirements.
• Audit Assistance: Prepare documents and assist during internal and external audits as required.
• Provide support for ad-hoc accounting projects and other tasks as assigned.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
• Good understanding of basic accounting principles.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook).
• Knowledge of accounting software (e.g., Netsuite) is a plus.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Good communication skills and ability to work collaboratively in a team.
• Ability to manage time effectively and handle multiple tasks.

You are primarily responsible for preparing and managing monthly financial statements, budgets, costings, and claims submissions for research and clinical trials. This includes extracting and collating supporting documentation for funding agencies, verifying and managing accounts receivables, posting journal entries, performing variance analysis, preparing audit schedules, and overseeing operational processes to ensure accuracy and compliance.

You will work closely with our colleagues from Finance Shared Services, Clinical Trials and Research, and external grantors/ auditors and IT teams to ensure seamless systems integration and audit compliance. You are also expected to support the team in SAP system automation and UAT.

Job Requirements:

• Recognised degree in Accountancy/ ACCA or equivalent with relevant working experience
• Fresh graduates who are keen to learn quickly and are creative are welcome to apply
• Knowledge of SAP would be an advantage
• Proficient in Microsoft Office applications, especially Excel
• Strong communication, interpersonal and analytical skills
