Job Description

• Work with the curriculum team at Academia, to develop and update educational materials for students of varying levels
• Assist teachers with their classes, including student management and differentiated instruction
• Mark and review students’ work
• Positions are available for Primary English, Secondary O-Level and IP English, and JC General Paper

Profile and background

• Strong proficiency in the English language is essential. English majors and undergraduates majoring in the humanities and social sciences are typically a good fit for this role, but we have had excellent interns from a range of different academic backgrounds.
• Curriculum development will require the ability to work independently and synthesise content and research materials from various sources.
• We do expect that candidates possess effective communication skills and a good work ethic.
• We accept both full-time and part-time interns. Candidates who are able to work at least 1 weekend will be prioritised.
• Interns should deploy creativity, meticulousness and rigor when developing educational content, in line with the high standards of the organization

Key Responsibilities:

Content Creation and Management:

• Assist in creating and editing engaging content for different channels, such as social media, websites, emails, blogs, and marketing materials.
• Ensure content aligns with brand guidelines and effectively communicates the organisation's message and value proposition.

Digital Marketing and Social Media:

• Support the execution of digital marketing campaigns and digital assets creation.
• Monitor social media channels and compile the data for analytics purposes.

Marketing Campaign and Event Support:

• Aid in the planning and execution of marketing campaigns across the various platforms.
• Collaborate with team members to track campaign performance and analyse key metrics.
• Assist in organising and promoting events, tradeshows, and other promotional activities.
• Help in the development of event materials and coordination of logistics.

Branding and Design:

• Contribute to the maintenance of brand consistency by following brand guidelines in all communications.
• Assist in the creation of visual content and graphics for marketing purposes.

Analytics and Reporting:

• Generate reports to summarise campaign performance and present findings to the team.

Requirements:

• Currently pursuing a Diploma or Degree in marketing, communications, business, journalism or related field.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills in English.
• Familiarity with digital marketing tools, social media platforms, and content management systems would be an advantage.
• Passionate about social media and digital content marketing.
• Creative thinking and the ability to generate innovative marketing ideas.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Designing programmes.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and manage multiple projects simultaneously; handles competing priorities and pressures well.
• Results-oriented. Self-motivated. Takes initiative with a "can do" attitude.
