Role Purpose:

The Associate Security Consultant attains CREST CRT certification, learns other security assurance skills and assists in delivering penetration testing & offensive security projects to ensure a successful outcome that at least meets or exceeds the expectations of our clients.

Role Outcomes:

• Mentored to achieved CREST CRT certification within 4 months of joining Vantage Point.
• Complete the Associate Consultant training program to become competent with the use of penetration testing tools and techniques, including manual testing, automated application vulnerability scanning/testing tools and source code review techniques.
• Perform penetration testing projects as part of a team to ensure they are delivered efficiently and on schedule.
• All client data is managed in strict accordance with Vantage Point Security data security and protection policies throughout the project.

Role Responsibilities:

• Achieve CREST CRT certification within 4 months of joining Vantage Point.
• Complete the Associate Consultant training program comprising the learning of penetration testing tools and techniques, including manual testing, automated application vulnerability scanning/testing tools and source code review techniques.
• Support Senior Consultants and Security Consultants to perform manual penetration tests of websites, services, infrastructure, networks, IoT Devices, and mobile applications to discover and report exploitable vulnerabilities.

Role Description

You will be building and growing a portfolio of new and existing clients by delivering world class security assurance services that verify our client’s compliance with regulatory and technical security standards.

You will be responsible for managing the sales cycle of multiple ongoing projects across multiple clients. You will be supported by technical presales and project management for service and project delivery.

Key Responsibilities:

Sales

• Lead client meetings, presentations, and negotiations, clearly articulating the value of security assurance services in terms of risk reduction, compliance, and improving overall security posture.
• Work closely with marketing and product teams to align strategies and support campaigns that promote security our assurance services.
• Stay updated on industry trends, emerging threats, and compliance regulations, ensuring your recommendations are relevant and effective.
• Achieve and exceed sales targets by managing a full sales pipeline from a portfolio of existing clients incoming leads and new lead generation.
• Align our pricing strategies with clients to capture future repeat business

CRM Management

• Keep CRM data up to date and accurate for effective account management.
• Utilise CRM, Dynamics 365 for tracking leads, managing client interactions, and ensuring the sales process is optimised.

Account Planning:

• Work with the technical Pre sales team to identify the client’s security requirements based on the client’s security goals, compliance regulations and standards.
• Collaborate with internal teams to create strategic account plans, focusing on long-term client needs and opportunities for growth.

Forecasting and Reporting:

Regularly update sales forecasts and provide detailed reports on pipeline health, deal progression, and revenue outlook. Use CRM data and analytics to accurately predict sales performance and plan resource allocation.

Qualifications and Experience:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, Business, or related field.
• 3-5 years of experience in cybersecurity sales, specifically selling security products or services would be advantageous.
• Experience working with CRM systems for managing client data, tracking sales progress, and forecasting.
• Strong understanding of security assurance services and their role in compliance, risk management, and security improvement.
• Proven ability to meet or exceed sales quotas and manage complex accounts with multiple stakeholders.
• Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills with the ability to engage with both technical and non-technical audiences.

Preferred Skills:

• Previous sales and account management experience
• Knowledge of security testing is an advantage.

· Conduct security and safety risk assessment surveys of the assignments allocated

· Conduct investigations and vet incident reports submitted by the security team and prepare AAR of the incident

· Ensure all site requirements according to the site file and in compliance with PLRD requirements

· Ensure 100% compliance of security personnel deployed to contractual headcount, turnout and bearing, discipline, licensing conditions and code of conduct

· Ensure prompt distribution of site officers welfare items, stationaries, equipment’s, memos. Letters and forms

· Ensure all leave application forms hardcopy or electronically with MCs or any other letters such as resignation are being followed up and delivered to HQ

· Ensure monthly report for every sites are being delivered to Clients and documents submitted for billings

· Submission of weekly roster for all sites allocated are promptly updated

· Overall in-charge of day-to-day operations of security personnel redeployment to the sites preventing shortfalls

· Conduct OJT training for new hires and conduct refresher on SOP

· Handle workplace investigation, grievance and discipline

· Plan and schedule training for security personnel in alignment with PWM requirements

· Plan and conduct periodic exercises minimum 1 Exercise Drill/TTX per site to ensure the vigilance and operational capabilities of security personnel
